My hair can be quite tricky and requires a lot of care, but Suat handled it with such attention and professionalism. I initially planned to get a full highlight, but he kindly advised splitting it into multiple sessions since my hair was already a bit damaged and needed time to recover. I appreciated the honesty and care—so I went with a partial highlight instead, along with a trim and a blowout, and the result was beautiful. Though I still think he could do better job on getting the closest distance possible to the root, maybe next time. The atmosphere of the salon, with its warm Middle Eastern vibe and nostalgic music, made the whole experience even more special. I had 55$ Groupon though he suggested paying in the salon which cost me 200$ since he did a toner treatment and my hair was longer probably than what the salon expected.

I’m extremely disappointed with the services provided by Kysenia. My daughter went in for a haircut and left with hair that was uneven and not at all what was discussed. The work felt rushed and careless, and the end result was honestly upsetting. Unfortunately, this wasn’t an isolated incident. My sister previously had her hair dyed by Kysenia as well and also left with a botched result that had to be fixed elsewhere. Experiencing poor outcomes more than once shows a pattern, not a one-time mistake. Hair is personal, and clients trust stylists to treat it with care and professionalism. Based on these experiences, I would not recommend Kysenia.

The last time I went to KESENIA she did a HORRIBLE job on my highlights. I noticed it immediately after getting home, the nerve of her for getting bothered because I asked her to fix it. Nevertheless I NEVER went back to her!!! Yesterday my niece went to her for a simple haircut, face framing and trim. KESENIA didn't do as she was asked, instead she took it upon herself to cut as much hair as she pleased. WHO DOES THAT?!?! OH I KNOW KESENIA!!!! EXTREMELY ANGRY 😡😡😡

clearly stated I did not want to lose length. Kitsenia cut off far more hair than agreed upon anyway. No check-in. No consent. No accountability. To make it worse, when I called afterward, the man who answered the phone asked if getting my tip back was going to make my hair grow back faster. That alone tells you everything about the level of professionalism here. A haircut is permanent. Ignoring client instructions and responding with sarcasm instead of accountability is unacceptable. Do not book with Kitsenia if you value your hair or expect basic respect.

I purchased a Groupon for a wash, cut, heat conditioning treatment, dry and style. I can't say I got all of it, but the wash cut and dry were very worth the price. They added an extra $20 due to the length of my hair. If you are looking for a no frill, easy walk in and out general hair place this is it. Durka did a good job and knew how to do what I needed. They didn't use products, but that's something that I guess you have ask for. My main concern was getting many inches off without paying an arm and a leg. I was satisfied with the service.

Terrible experience – avoid this salon for hair coloring! My wife went in and clearly asked for a brown hair color — I heard it myself. She came back with black hair because the stylist mixed the wrong color. At first, they didn’t even admit the mistake and insisted it was "dark brown." On top of that, they still charged her the full price! Unbelievable. If you care about getting the right color, stay far away from this place.

Believe the bad reviews !! Kesenia ruined my sister’s beautiful long, thick hair. Uneven, careless, and honestly shocking work. The way the complaint was handled was just as bad as the haircut, dismissive and unprofessional. Disgusting lack of professionalism. Save your money and go elsewhere.
