Jordan did my sugar wax and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! She was punctual, super friendly, and extremely detail-oriented. She made the whole process smooth and comfortable. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for quality service and a welcoming atmosphere!

⭐️ 1-Star Review I’m writing this on behalf of my aunt, Susan N., who had a seriously alarming experience at Sugaring NYC. Immediately after her waxing appointment, she developed a painful boil in the exact area where the service was performed. The reaction escalated quickly, and she is now under a doctor’s care for a severe infection that began almost immediately after the appointment. She has never had any reaction like this before. When she reached out to the business, she spoke with Manager Jordan Gerber, hoping for basic accountability or even simple empathy. Instead, he dismissed her concerns and insisted the reaction "took too long" to appear, so it couldn’t be related to their wax. That explanation is not only inaccurate—skin reactions and infections can absolutely develop over hours, not seconds—but it felt like a convenient excuse to avoid responsibility. Rather than acknowledging the possibility of a service-related reaction or offering a refund, they denied everything. No concern for her health. No ownership. No willingness to make the situation right. Just a flat refusal. For a business that works directly with skin, this level of disregard is unacceptable. When a customer ends up with a severe infection requiring medical treatment, the appropriate response is care and accountability—not denial. My aunt will never return, and neither will anyone in our family. A company that refuses to stand behind its services or support customers when something goes wrong is not a company we can trust.

This salon is amazing, beautiful, immaculate and the services are impeccable! Highly recommended to anyone! Paxton did a spray-tan and brow tinting on me, and it was perfect. We went for a "girls day out" and we will def do it again! 💜

I absolutely love my brows and lashes. The results turned out even better than I expected. The whole experience was relaxing and clean from start to finish. Ally took the time to explain each step. I’ve already received so many compliments and will definitely be back.

Just had my first sugar wax with Jordan and she did a GREAT job for me. I was a little nervous especially about my eyebrows,, but she listened to me and gave me exactly what I asked for! I will be back next month for a touch up with Jordan. Also, a word about the salon…it’s so pink and pretty and clean! And there are free scrub samples and chocolates.. so the whole experience has been such a treat! 💕💖

I had the best experience at Sugaring NYC!! Jennifer did a lash lift and tint on me at the Berry Farms location. Not only was she talented and professional at what she did, she was also so friendly and really did everything she could to make me feel comfortable. Now I want to go back and try another service! If I could leave 10 stars, I would!! 🙂

Just moved here a few months ago, and was ready to find a new Sugarist. I scheduled an appt online with Jordan, which was super easy to do! Showed up for my appt at 9:30am and was walking out by 9:50am. Jordan was fast, efficient, easy to talk to, great bedside manner, and made getting a Brazilian a breeze. The space was also clean, cute and dainty. Will for sure be coming back! Thank you!
