I had a great back treatment/facial. I got my hair dyed and the first student did not do it as I asked. I left not happy with the hair color or how it was applied to my hair. I went back into the beauty school and spoke with one of the educators and they fixed my hair. They guaranteed the service which was very kind of them. Now my hair looks so much better. It’s a very nice salon— especially the spa area.

I had a disappointing experience during my visit. I understand this is a student learning environment, but the service I received did not meet an acceptable standard. I showed inspiration photos and requested a light blonde color. While I know dark hair can take time to lift, the bleach was left on my hair from about 10:20 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. After rinsing and toning, my hair was two completely different colors. There were also long periods of waiting while supplies were gathered. The students were kind and polite, but the instructor kind of had an attitude and it made me feel a little uncomfortable by it. Eventually, another student and the instructor took over and applied a new color formula. Unfortunately, the final result was red/orange tones with hints of blonde and brown—completely different from the blonde I requested. I did not expect them to change up the formula after showing them photos I was at the salon from 9:15 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., and left unhappy with the results. I will now need to visit a professional salon to correct the color. In hindsight, I feel I should have asked about a refund. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future clients.

I would like to leave a very positive review for the student Paola. I was her client on two separate occasions, and on both visits she provided a haircut, highlights, and overall style care. Both times she did an excellent job. She worked neatly, attentively, and with great diligence. Throughout the appointments, she was polite and calm, and it was clear that the quality of the result was very important to her. For a student, this is an outstanding level of professionalism; her potential and genuine love for the profession are clearly visible. I wish her continued success and further professional growth.

Savannah for cutting curly hair for the first time did a wonderful job. I did have to style my hair at the end because she didn't know how to style curly hair. The instructor was very helpful as welll. To Aveda institute, I would expect more training for your stylist so they're more well-rounded, especially since you have a great be curly line. It would be expected that the stylists know how to cut and style curly hair confidently.

My husband and I both had a great experience here! It was our first time getting haircuts at this salon and it won’t be our last! Nora K. was my stylist and did a great job! I showed her what I wanted and she did it even better! She took her time and was very nice. Reagan did my husband’s fade and wow! It looked even better than when he would go to his barber. Even the instructor was impressed! We will definitely be requesting them again to do our hair. Thank you Aveda! We’ll be back!
