I wanted to wait until my hair had settled before writing my final review, because initially, I really didn't like it. I've had Zara as a hairstylist before and was very pleased with her work then, which is why I returned. I even wrote her a 5 star review. However, this time, the service was completely inconsistent, and I am very unhappy. I paid over $500 on the haircut plus tip(almost $600), and it was not at all what I asked for. The request I had was that I did not want any orange in my hair whatsoever and I wanted the blonde to start closer to my roots so it could grow out. My first red flag was when I showed her the picture and she only glanced at it for two seconds. The second red flag was that she was obviously rushing to another appointment, as she wrapped up my hair dye early. I had asked for a blonde money piece and highlights over the rest of my hair like I had before, to get rid of existing orange pieces. Honestly, my hair looked better before she touched it this time. I do not think it is ever acceptable for a hairstylist to rush through an appointment; they should allot time accordingly, and if they need to go to their own appointment, they should make those plans beforehand or have another hairdresser take over. Now I am upset that I am out $500 and still do not have the hair I want. Doing my hair is a rare treat for me, maybe once or twice a year, and now I do not think I am able to do it again anytime soon to fix this. Additionally, during my appointment, she took another person's appointment while I was sitting at the hair-washing station with wet hair—not processing color, but completely washed. I sat there soaking wet for an hour without a towel on my back. To make matters worse, whatever bleach she used also bleached the shirt I was wearing, and I found it completely stained and bleached through the next day. As she was drying my hair, I pointed out the orange still present, and she blamed the "last person who did my hair." When I told her she was the person who did my hair last time, she denied it, which I know is false because I was there. I am never coming back here again. Be warned that a lot of their early five-star reviews may be inflated, as they used to offer a 10% discount for providing a review for a service.

Truly a great salon experience! The stylist listened carefully to my ideas and gave helpful suggestions. The final look was stylish, neat, and exactly what I hoped for. The salon atmosphere was clean, calm, and welcoming. Professional service from beginning to end. I’ll definitely book my next appointment here!

First time getting a haircut at Social Hair, and it was a great experience. Zara was my stylist—she’s fun, professional, and incredibly skilled. After just one look at my reference photo, she immediately understood my hair type and the style I was going for. She did an amazing job, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Highly recommend!

Splendid -- Samantha took great care and time with the Keratin Rx and attentive to details about the treatment... She also trimmed my bangs -- that is as even and as correctly-done as they've ever been. It's also appreciated that any thing(s) that might fall on the floor are put to be sterilized and washed & not used on persons' head or hair... (One item regarding the establishment is that i/we look forward to the chairs at hair-washing station being fixed and made functional.) Fully, i recommend the place, and Samantha. I got a haircut with Zara and absolutely loved it! She gave me exactly what I wanted and was super sweet and kind. She kept ensuring how much she was cutting was good with me which I really liked. Definitely recommend Zara for haircuts!

I took my daughter for a haircut, I saw her happy with the result and decided to have one too. Samantha and Maria were super nice and friendly, I received many hair care recommendations. I’m absolutely happy with experience and it will be my place to go!

I visited HairSocial for the first time today and met Cheyenne. She was wonderful and very attentive, very accommodating with my disability. She was very patient with me as I struggle relaying my needs because of brain fog. Her scalp massage was a 100/10 experience. It was a very relaxing experience, perhaps the most relaxed I’ve been in a while. I highly recommend this friendly and talented hair stylist and salon!
