Diva Nails Chula Vista I’m sharing this in hopes that management will take it seriously and make this right. I have scheduled appointments in advance multiple times, yet I’m consistently asked to wait 30+ minutes because my technician is still with another client. This defeats the purpose of booking and shows a lack of respect for customers’ time. More concerning is the service quality. My clear requests to properly remove and replace acrylic were ignored, the work felt rushed, I left with cuts on my toes, and within days the acrylic cracked and broke. This reflects poor workmanship and inadequate care. When I calmly raised these concerns, they were dismissed and I was still charged full price, with no meaningful attempt to resolve the issue. Because this has happened more than once, I’m extremely disappointed. I would appreciate management reaching out to address this experience and provide an appropriate resolution. — Valerie
Its a hit or miss with the quality of service you get in this place. The last couple of times ive gone have been bad. Finally i said something to the girl that helps seat people (thin one with glasses) that i was not happy with my pedicure i dont get the cheap one, and i get french so it adds up ( the only thing i splurge in i get #3 or 4) Her response was so dismissive and said she will bring it up to the manager did nothing to rectify the situation….. im so disappointed with this place i loved coming here have been for years…. And it has 100% gone downhill…..
I do not recommend this place. The manicure was good, but the pedicure was a different story. I feel like I could have done a much better job myself. The lady that did the pedi did a very sloppy job and did not seem to care about quality at all. The group that I came with all got pedis, and there’s looked a lot better than mine. Not that it’s that big of a deal, but I paid for the pedi that comes with a massage and did not get one. Please save your money! Or take the risk and hope you get someone good
I’ve been going here since I was young, my older sister introduced this place to me and it started off great. Recently I invited a friend of mine and the nail tech had her set done, but missing a black tint to cover the sprinkles to make a cats eye effect. My friend didn’t felt heard about what she wanted, so I spoke up for her and the nail tech didn’t want her to change the set because her preference. She liked the gold to pop out. I calmly listening to the nail tech and repeated what I said because it started to make my friend uncomfortable. The nail tech proceeds to get her coworkers input and the coworker was understanding to our point of view and I was helping to explain how my nails were done to not fully hide the gold. She was getting passive aggressive and yanked my friends hand out of anger and redone every finger just to had a black tint on top. Mind you, this was the only thing missing, just the top black tint layer, she didn’t even need to redo the whole set. I got upset on how she aggressively held and pulled my friends hand. So we patiently waited for her to redo the whole set, then I approach the front desk to just pay for everything because we wanted to leave. I spoke with the manager about the nail techs behavior and she apologized on behalf’s of the employee, but not sure if the passive aggressive employee was held accountable for her behavior and actions. I only have three stars because the older ladies that help me on the right side of the building are so sweet and treat me like family. I only am upset about this one encounter because I felt bad to invite my friend to get a nail tech that couldn’t respect her choice and her body correctly.
The best nail salon I’ve been to all these years. And the best nails ever, as well all sets here but theseeeee 😍😍😍😍
Let me age myself! I’ve been coming here for 1️⃣6️⃣years! Sheesh! I’ve gone around to other spots when Mandy or Summer wasn’t in or if I was in my feelings because it was packed, but I’ve ALWAYS come back to Diva. They last 3 weeks no lifting, no chipping. I’ve been here for EVERY occasion and multiple proposals 😂 but Diva is my longest relationship! I’ve been coming since it was ONE suite and now they’ve grown to take over 3 suites here on Third and Naples. Mandy was just reminding me I’ve been coming for forever and how I’ve brought my entire family with me. Mom, sisters, cousins, nieces, significant others and now my baby. They have a client for life.
I have gone here for years!! The best nail shop in San Diego 😍 Service is ALWAYS excellent. The quality of nails here is by far the best. My nails always last and don't break. Worth every penny and if you like designs on ur nails, there are women that can replicate designs you bring in. Everyone here is so nice and the atmosphere is calming. They have tea!! There's different levels of pedicures also so whatever you need is here. Definitely recommend 👌
