Kyu Hair is the best hair salon in Bloomington. My friend was highly recommended this salon and I am also highly satisfied. My boyfriend got haircut. She recommend the good style. Also, the service is the best. Price is reasonable, and skill is great. Booking required.

Kyu's parlor has such an aesthetic, with strong Korean vibes. She had all the little details covered, like ear covers for hair washing and an eye shield while applying creams. She was incredibly kind, and my hair straightening treatment went perfectly. She was very patient and even offered me water during the treatment.

I was in search of a last-minute same-day haircut and was relieved to be able to make an appointment here. I had never been in before, but I’m so happy with the results. She was super professional and did an amazing job transforming my long thick hair into a chic shoulder length cut. It was less expensive than most salons and really a great quality cut. I didn’t give much direction other than the length I was going for and just let her (the owner) do her thing. If I ever need a cut again in town I would definitely go back!

This place is the BEST! She is very professional and the nicest person I've ever met! She has been working as a hair stylist more than 20 years here in the US. She gave me a cut and straight perm and I extremely pleased with the result. My hair turned out very smooth, silky, and straight without any burns. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for magic straight perm or Japanese straight perm!

Very professional and knowledgeable with what she's doing, this was the experience that had me regain confidence in allowing someone else to touch my hair. She took off the exact length she showed me she would, cut the type of layers I asked for perfectly, and recommended face framing pieces when I asked what could work with my face shape (and this was great advice). Probably my new go to place in town and the only one I truly recommend.

I'm never sure what I want in a haircut, so I said something vague like "a trim". The results show that Kyu Hair considered my face shape to make recommendations. From our conversation, I learned that she has 35 years of experience! You can tell she cuts hair by hand like a professional. I love my haircut! I wish I found her sooner! The wash and cut price was a great deal. Calling to book is required.
