My Beauty Spa

I went to My Beauty Spa on Sunday, October 12th, for a classic facial and was assigned with Mindy. It was my first time there, and I’ll admit I was a little skeptical at first—but I’m so glad I went! From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff greeted me so warmly and made me feel welcome. The treatment room was peaceful, clean, and the relaxing music set the perfect mood. Mindy was wonderful—so kind, gentle, and professional. She explained every step of the facial and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. My skin felt refreshed and glowing afterward. I’ll definitely be coming back for monthly facials, and I can’t wait to try their hair spa next. Grateful for such a great experience!

I've gotten massages here and were good so decided to give a facial try. Bought classic facial since it states: "Cleaning/steaming exfoliation and EXTRACTION, face, neck and shoulder massage, mask and moisture protection..." I told the Wendy, the facial person I mainly want extraction, though, not many. After all was said and done, there was a very long more of neck and shoulder massage and only extraction I got was around my nose, period. Mind you, I came for extraction and facial not a massage, though felt good. After it was finished, I told her I was expecting extraction on my forehead and she said since I got the classic facial and it's only for 60 minutes, w mask, there is no time for the entire face extraction so they only do nose. So next time, do the Sothys facial which is longer (and of course, more expensive.) So.. why doesn't the description say that?? Nose extraction only or partial extraction only.. I have gotten many facials and never ever had this kind of experience where they say extraction but only does nose and does not specifically say that. Nothing against the person who did the facial. She was wonderful. It's just the way it's structured so be warned. If you get a classic facial, you'll get at least 30 mins of massage and little facial. I don't think I'll be coming back here for a facial again. Very disappointed.

I love this place for the amazing reflexology foot massages. When I noticed they did hair I booked an appointment for my tween and teen. Will does a great job on both kids, who have very different hair and styles. He did a great job of listening to them and executing the hair cuts they wanted. The price is very reasonable for a shampoo/ cut/ blow dry. We will be back!

I’ve been here several times to get a facial from Wendy. She’s does a very thorough job so I always leave with the cleanest, most moisturized skin that leaves me glowing for days. Highly recommend going to this spa to get a service from Wendy!

To be able to get an affordable 60 minute massage for $80 was the main reason I dragged my sore self to My Beauty Spa today. Well that and the beaming reviews. It's conveniently located right on Webster street and its entrance is very bright and clean. I was welcomed and asked to fill out a chart indicating where I'd like the masseuse to focus (my neck and shoulders) and whether I'd prefer light, medium or hard pressure (hard). I was led to a low-lit single room to privately receive quite literally ONE OF THE BEST massages I have had in years. Gina knew the assignment. She powerfully worked and kneaded every kink and knot right out of my aching body. Afterward I bought a membership right on the spot ($50 for a year and now I get an additional $5 or $10 off each time I come back!! In this economy that's exceptional). 10/10 Absolutely recommend.

I love this spot. I have been several times by myself and with a partner. My favorite is the hot stone massage. I have also tried and enjoyed the facials and reflexology. I just left after 2.5 hours there and feel amazing! They have great prices too, especially if you pay cash. Very thorough.

The massage overall was alright. They didn’t ask for what pressure I’d like, so the massage was softer than I’d hoped for. In addition, at times the workers would chat so it would take me out of the experience. I booked a bit close to closing time so it made sense for them to rush, but they ended 5 minutes short of my one hour session. Along with that, after tipping in cash they had requested for more. The massage was okay but the overall experience was definitely disappointing. Perhaps it’d be better to book earlier in the day.
