The Friendly Toast

The chicken & waffles are outstanding. Amount the best I've ever eaten. Homemade whipped cinnamon butter and real maple syrup. The chicken was amazingly crispy, superb flavor a touch of sweetness but not overly so. The service wasn't very good but I wouldn't let that discourage me, the food was good enough to make up for it.

First time visiting and it didn’t disappoint! We came as a party of two for breakfast and had a wonderful experience. I tried the tots with their cheese sauce — absolutely delicious. We also ordered the breaded chicken sandwich topped with a fried egg and bacon, which was hearty and flavorful. The eggs Benedict with potatoes was another highlight, cooked perfectly and very satisfying. My only small wish is that they offered freshly squeezed orange juice — I always miss it at breakfast spots. That said, they make up for it with a nice variety of mimosas and a good coffee selection. Overall, tasty food, generous portions, and a pleasant way to start the morning. We’ll definitely be back! Ange was our host and she was amazing.

Pros: cool retro vibe, nice staff, great food Cons: pricey, music a bit loud, wait time Overall good experience, good vibes and great food with real maple syrup which is amazing!! If you’re going on the weekend I would get on the waitlist (on website). It can get a bit noisy with a lot of people but not too bad. The chicken and waffles were yum and I would get again.

Had a wonderful brunch! The service was excellent and very kind. Loved the atmosphere and the waffle is delicious. I loved the mini syrup each person got! Looking forward to going back again. I highly recommend!

We had the best experience at The Friendly Toast! It has a fantastic menu, full of puns, interesting choices, and the food was phenomenal. The service was exceptional! Our server, Steven, was attentive, quick, and friendly! The manager, Brandon, made us laugh, gave great recommendations for the area, and went above and beyond to make our party feel welcomed. Please visit this place!!

Our server Antonia, was excellent! She was very helpful explaining items on the menu. She had great suggestions for the friends visiting for the first time. We will definitely be coming back!

We waited 30 minutes for the "monster breakfast " for nothing. You see the crack in the waffle? It’s because I picked it up then when I pressed it, it crumbled like crazy. The plate was warm yet the food was cold. Never again, wouldn’t recommend.
