It never really feels that clean inside the store like some of the other Warehouse shops. But they have plenty of merchandise, the prices are good, and the staff is fairly helpful. Surprisingly we found some of the baked goods to be pretty high quality, and the meats tend to be pretty good also. We've been members on and off for probably 10 years now, and in general it's worth the membership. The most difficult part about shopping here is the checkout process. The automated system is often problematic, and the lanes that have cashiers in them run painfully slow. You could spend half hour waiting for check out on a busy day. There have been times where we've just turned around as soon as we walked in once we've seen the lines, because we know we're going to spend 20 minutes or more waiting to check out and that's just not worth it.

I have always shopped at this bjs. To be honest I have never had any disappointments until today . My mom and I went on the detergent isle and saw the soap in photo below for $17.49. At the cashier it rang for $24. Plus. I told the young lady it is 17.49 she said to take a pic and bring it back which I did . She took our items to the customer service desk … and was told that I could not get the price that was seen on the shelf and that they could only honor 1 of the soap out of the 3 I ordered and also from my moms order she has 2 … I said to the gentleman I should get it for the price shown… as it was their fault why the price was there . It was still refused . I have back all 5 buckets. Feeling cheated , disappointed knowing that my items should have been honored … I expected better from that company . As we were leaving they were heading down to the isle to change the price .

my order pick up experience is always good but today when I picked up my order of groceries nunzio went above and beyond. I purchased the new caramel apple muffins from the bakery department but apparently when the initial stocker did my groceries he squished the muffins. Nunzio noticed when he brought my order out and had another person get new muffins. However those new muffins where also squished so Nunzio went himself to get the best ones and I really appreciate that and I think he deserves the shout out for his awesome customer service (which is very hard to come by these days). So thank you Nunzio for going above and beyond and I hope BJ'S gives you that recognition as well.

I had a BJ's membership for years, but their fees and rates were out of control, so I did not renew my membership after it expired. I received an offer to renew for $10, and the only reason why I considered renewing was so that I could send supplies to those who are affected by Hurricane Melissa. The link to renew for $10 didn't work. When I tried calling to get some assistance, I was on the phone for almost 30 minutes playing ring around the Rosie. What a complete and utter disappointment.

my experience at the West Hartford BJ’s felt rushed, and also felt like a inconvenience to the people that decided to clock in to work. Professionalism and customer service goes a long way rather is at the beginning of the store being open or the last two minutes of the store being open. You should always remember that you have a job to do and to carry yourself a certain way and if you’re not able to obtain such professionalism and good customer service Then you should really truly work somewhere else and that goes for the workers that work the floor as well as the supervisors as well because even the supervisors were just as bad.

Such a wonderful experience! I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone that would like to have an enjoyable time with your guest and interacting with such lovely staff. From the moment we set foot in the door they were nothing but polite and gracious host. To top it off the food was absolute FANTASTIC! Purchased a $500 TV from BJ's using One time pass #BJU0080453. The TV arrived with a huge whole in the box and you could see straight through to the TV. I was told by the delivery driver that I could decline the TV and that they would send it back to the Warehouse so I can get my refund. I then call Bj's the next day and they say that declining the package was the right thing to do and that they would process the refund once the TV was received. Over a month has passed and I still haven't received a refund. Every time I contact BJ's they state that there unsure if there warehouse has received the TV from CEVA, the delivery company and now I stuck holding the bag for a TV I never received. I've contacted them several times and every time they say that they can see that I never received the TV and that it was returned with the delivery driver as recommended but since that warehouse isn't responding to them and letting them know if they received the TV or if the delivery company still has it they can't initiate a refund. Now I stuck without $500 or a TV and there's nothing I can do about it. I asked Toni, the supervisor I spoke with on the phone, what would happen if the warehouse never responds and she states that they will not be able to initiate a refund. Long story short be careful ordering Items from BJ's, they might just rob you.
