Dollar General

I have a sick toddler and needed Tylenol for her fever , I pull up to the store at 8:40pm , the staff sees me pull in and runs to the front door and locks it , they don’t close until 9:00 pm , I drove almost 20 miles , now I’m forced to drive another 4 miles (8 both ways ) to go to Walmart and get meds for my toddler. Shame on you guys for being selfish and rushing to lock the doors way before closing time as you see a customer coming in .

I love the store itself but the north Topeka location has disappointed me over the course of several visits. My biggest pet peeve is there is never an employee at the check stand and no where in sight. New Years Eve this location lost my business when after 5 minutes of waiting an employee came up, and although I was at the check out counter with my items, helped 3 people behind me (check out on another register) before finally getting the attention of the employee she kept calling out to. All she had to do was ask me to move to the other register.

I was able to find stuff that I forgot to pick up the store here. They even had amazing clearance sale going on. Thank you for making it so easy for me to get in and back out in less than 10 munutes.

I need knee replacements and Cathy was incredibly helpful with getting me my groceries. Highly recommend this location and they must have great management to have such great employees! Thank you again, Cathy!

I just went in there to get cigarettes for my boyfriend, and the lady working at the time asked me for my ID which is fine I just turned 21 in January. I look young I get that, but then she proceeded to tell me that I don’t look like my ID that my eyes are darker in the picture, and she had me pull down my mask and smile since I was smiling in my picture. I’ve used my ID several times at other places, and have never been told I don’t look like my ID. That was absolutely ridiculous I won’t be going there anymore.

The ladies that wait on me from the Dollar General are always very kind and funny. Dollar General has many cheaper alternatives for chips and snack items, crackers and other items. I am glad to have one close by.

I went there to get toilet paper and there was a sale tag on it. Got to the register and the girl said it wasn't on sale and that the tag was put in the wrong spot. She is suppose to give it to me for the sale price no matter what but didn't. They lost a customer that day.
