I love HEIGHTS guitar. The employees there are great! They have the best attitude and communicate well, whether a beginner or advanced musician.

If you need something musical, start here, as this is the last real music store that Toledo can still call its own. I gather it started in Cleveland Heights (hence the name), but that location closed and this one's still open, probably because it's the best option within an hour of NW Ohio. I've tried them all over the past 20 years and no one else that's still open for business comes close. The staff here know what they're talking about because they're actual musicians who enjoy helping others. Stop buying stuff at chain stores when you can support a local business that helps its community. Thanks Heights Guitars.

Brought in a guitar with an intermittent pickup switch. I had tried to fix it myself to no avail. The guys here got it open and fixed in an amazingly short time. They were also very courteous. They clearly know what they’re doing, and they also have a great selection of guitars and maintenance accessories.

We went to Heights looking for an upgrade for my son‘s beginner guitar. Didn’t know exactly what we were looking for, but the guy that helped us (wish I remembered his name) was really helpful understanding how my son plays, the type of music he likes to play and then brought different options for him to try out. I liked that he explained the technical components that my son might need and also set up a place for him to play and tuned amp in the way they thought he might like. Very personalized experience! We ended up getting a used PRS guitar in fantastic condition. Definitely will be back!

I went in there earlier this week . A gentleman with black hair and tattoos helped me get a small amp and Auxiliary cord that would work for my starter electric drum set. He was very nice and knowledgeable. Got me what I needed for under 30 bucks and it works really well I'm very happy with my experience I will be going back even though it's quite a drive for me!

This store is one of the best for selling instruments and other music devices!.. in Toledo! The people that run the place are very cool and knowledgeable Plus the prices are not bad at all!?

Where do I begin? I have tried to keep an open mind about Heights, as there are few options around. I am a guitar teacher in Bowling Green, and I have recommended my students to Heights, even keeping their brand-sticker on the side of my desk and guitar cases. I will be removing all references to Heights guitars from my studio and recommending my students go elsewhere. 1. About 6 months ago, I left a 9-string classical guitar with them for the simple fix of creating a new nut. They called me to say the guitar was done at least 3 times, each time making me drive 30 minutes to come to their store, only to find they had not started working on it yet. 2. More than once I have seen them putting steel strings on classical guitars, the primary instrument my students play. Once, I informed the tech that those strings would destroy the guitar, to which he said "it's not a very nice guitar anyways". He may be correct but I'm sure your clients are not paying you to destroy their instruments! 3. One of my students purchased a steel string guitar from Heights recently at my recommendation. My student was struggling to play what she usually plays one day, so I inspected the guitar. I have never seen such a piece of trash in my life. It looks like it was spray painted and made with the cheapest materials imaginable, no brand, and no truss rod for the steel strings! So, the neck was warped and twisted beyond repair. When I called Heights to tell them they had sold my student this defective guitar, he argued at length with me, saying that we had caused the guitar's problems. After finally conceding to me on the phone, Heights then refused my student's return when she met with them, saying they would only accept a "trade-in" for the instrument. And surprise surprise, they don't have any guitars of the same value as this piece of junk. So my 17 year old student is out at least $70 bucks and has no usable guitar. I have heard many other complaints from musicians and music students that they are particularly patronizing to, and take advantage of, female clients. I would avoid this place at all costs, unless you are interested in buying electric guitars and other band equipment at guitar-center prices.
