There are only good things to say about this comic book store. With an expansive library of new and old books alike I have found a couple of literary gems, the type of selection that lets you find an odd book that piques your interest. I myself have done a lot more reading as a result of my purchases from this store. We haven’t started with the comic book/trading card game side of the store yet. You will find comic books, magic the gathering cards, and dungeons & dragons content new and old alike. Not only a reliable spot to catch the new release for Magic and Dungeons & Dragons, but you will be introduced into the larger board game scene as a whole, as you’ll find reliable choices like Scythe and Catan for board games. The store owner is friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, and for 30 years has been a staple for this community. Almost 10 years ago when I first stepped in completely new to this nerdy scene, the store owner took the time to guide me and my friends on how to get into some of the games he had on display. Ever since then I’ve been able to step in and seek advice on a wide variety of topics and game questions. The effort this store has taken to foster the love of trading card games, books, and table top RPGs has let me explore one of the best hobbies I’ve ever been a part of. Pictures attached are old. He has a great selection of books, comics and other things. I went in for a few books and my son wanted to look at comc books, and some kind of cards. Most people want to read books on a screen. I want to read an actual book and this is the place to get them. I will definitely be a regular here.

This place just celebrated 30 years open when I took my kiddos. I use to come here to look for older books and my kiddos father use to come to get comics. You should visit the guy (I forgot his name) was very helpful and nice. Kiddos got their first comics and I got another book lol.

My Sons favorite place!! Just a really cool place and the owner is a very knowledgeable and nice man. Very reasonably priced place

The fine gentleman inside refused to sell a 3 dollar zombie comic book to my son! Tried to support a local business and had a different outcome. Made the trip to vintage stock after being denied. If "inappropriate content" is being sold inside, then customers should be aware entering the business! Will not be coming back! If I could put no stars I would!

Best place in shawnee for hard-to-find books and comics. They have a decent little selection of trading cards. I do wish they hosted tournaments for other card games like Pokémon.
