Black Hills Vinyl

Great selection of used, new reissues and the latest new music on vinyl. The personnel are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I enjoy my visits there every chance I can get there which actually doubles as a form of unwinding and relaxation! My latest purchase, some Pink Floyd reissues…

This is my go-to record store in Rapid City. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to help whenever I’m searching for something specific. I like sampling old soul records, and I was honestly surprised by how extensive their selection and collections are. My wife and I stop in regularly to pick up records for both our personal collections and my sampling projects. Highly recommend this spot for anyone starting a vinyl hobby or looking for unique records to sample. About half the records in the photo are from this place.

Black Hills best vinyl store. Friendly staff, awesome environment. Would love to see larger selection of used vinyl as new is pretty pricey. Regardless, 10/10 my go-to spot.

The absolute best store in downtown Rapid City! They host lots of great events and I love spending an hour or more flipping through all the bins to find great finds.

Black Hills Vinyl, let me tell ya, they sell cool things that spin. I'm not into vinyl myself, BUT! I've become an avid disc golfer and Vinyl has such a good selection of discs. It's organized, by brand, speed, and in my experience always has the newest releases as well. I always leave with another cool disc or two...or 5. And if you think their selection of discs is large, you should see all the vinyl 😉 The shop has a great vibe, and has great staff. They've always been friendly and accommodating. I think it's also worth mentioning how cool it is that they also support the local disc golf scene in general with tournaments, prizing, etc. They support local hobbies, and we should support them as locals too. Do yourself a favor, head on down and buy something that spins. 👍 5/5

It's nice ordering from real people, who take their job seriously and provide actual customer service. Thank you for that! I look forward to shopping with your company again.

Fantastic record shop! It was really cool visiting a shop I ordered records from on Discogs. Coming from Denver, this shop is right up there with Twist and Shout on Colfax. Friendly staff, awesome selection in most formats, and great prices. Check it out if you’re in the area.
