Circle K

On October 7, 2025, at 8:28 AM, I visited the Circle K, where I’m a regular customer, stopping by every morning for two cans of dip and a hot dog before work(No trays today so I couldn’t get one nor did the lady at the counter offer to put out more trays to place in). Today, a new employee( I assume because she isn’t the regulars who ring me up every morning)refused to sell me tobacco because I have a Tennessee driver’s license, which is valid and doesn’t expire until May 3, 2026. I’m in Washington for contract work and don’t have a local ID, which shouldn’t be an issue for a routine purchase. This experience was frustrating as I waited in line for 15 min, as it’s never been a problem before. Unfortunately, this has led me to take my business elsewhere for both fuel and convenience items. I hope Circle K can clarify its policies to better serve out-of-state customers in the future.

Went in to get cigarettes which I buy at another location no problem every 2 days and get the 2 pack deal. My son is 14 and he looks 14.. again never had any issues, and the lady asked for my son’s ID, which he does not have because HES 14! And then refused to sell them to me.. I’m 36 years old.. this was so unnecessary and I also was waiting in line for about 10 minutes only to be refused pretty rudely. I had the same cigarettes right there in my purse. There was no reason to be suspicious. He’s always with me and I’ve never had this issue.. if she was suspicious she NEEDS WAY BETTER TRAINING!! They were very clearly FOR ME, and then that’s just a whole other issue!!! That makes me feel like shit that she would think I’m buying something for a minor, bad judgement and profiling. Sorry he didn’t want to wait in the heat of a car. She seemed like she was having a bad day and I should not get the consequence of that. Also, as I walked away, I ran into a huge spiderweb with another customer tried to warn me first about and a pretty big spider landed on me. The store is always a disgusting mess, which is generally why I don’t go to this specific location. I was school shopping with my son and decided to stop. I will never be back here. It's a great place to go get drinks especially the polar pops. Hopefully they will have all sodas working with clean counters.

Walking to work, stopped in to get energy drink and snack. Noticed clerk performing cleaning and positively noted his technique was rarely seen and was impressed. Was given what seemed judgmental attitude, so i responded with similar and decided not to complement his art work his was working on behind the counter.

My pepper spray exploded in my purse while I was driving and got on my hands, stopped at this circle K and when I asked to use the bathroom to wash my hands the first thing Alex the counter guy asked if I was ok, and if I needed help. He was making sure no one attacked me. It was past 12am on New Years and I felt incredibly safe at this location. Thanks for hiring people who not only care about their job but the people they serve.

My credit card info was stolen from a pump at this station this morning. A police office came out and a manager and they told me everything seemed to be normal but they were not entirely sure what to look for. They said a tech would be out at some point to check it out. For now I would suggest going to a different gas station; and always paying inside the store! I will update this post with different feedback if this somehow gets resolved.

Circle K gas stations have reliable gasoline at competitive prices, their stores are clean, no hassle in and out, polar pop XL for .99 cents. Definitely my go-to has station. They always have what I came for. I drive away satisfied every time.
