Gohyang Korean Restaurant

It’s decent Korean for Amherst area. Is it the best Korean food I’ve had in the US? No. Would I go again? Also no. I’m particular with Korean food after having lived there many years and also just recently returned from a trip there a few months again. Memories of the food are still alive in my brain! The banchan was minimal and bland/watery. Sad showing for banchan. The kimchi jigae soup was decent but very small for $18 compared to the yukgaejang for $19, which was a huge bowl. I asked for medium spicy on the yukgaejang and it was not spicy at all. The beef was good but other than that everything missed that flavor punch of good Korean food. Service was great and the restaurant is nice.

Stopped in after Trader Joe’s stop! The menu had so many delicious Korean dishes! Wanted to try them all. But we got the kimbop, the kalbi, fried dumplings and ttukpoki. All delicious and di satisfying!! Really great service too!

Amazing food. Always perfect, especially for dine-in. Only reason I’m rating atmosphere down is their lighting gives me a headache lol. But absolutely fabulous food, can’t recommend more. The dubu kimchi and buldak bokkeum are my personal favorites

This was an awesome first experience with Korean food. Never had bibimbap before, or gochujang, but I am a huge fan now. Also the banchan were really good both alone and with the meal.

I absolutely love this Korean restaurant. The food is incredibly delicious, with a range of authentic dishes that keep me coming back for more. The prices are quite reasonable, especially considering the quality of the meals. However, it tends to get super busy during peak hours, so be prepared for potentially long wait times; it's worth it, though! The servers are fantastic. Always attentive and friendly, which adds to the overall great dining experience. Just make sure to be patient if you plan to visit during busy times.

The food tasted good, but the service was very slow. We waited almost an hour for our appetizers, and our main course arrived at the same time.

I am skeptical of Korean restaurants across the less populated cities but this place is worth a try. I recommend their jjampong and chicken. Can't comment on others as I did not try. They also sell Korean drinks like soju.
