Safeway

This location is trash, particularly the deli. Ive been trying to get pastrami for over a month. One gal straight up said no when i asked for a pound of pastrami. She tried to play it off like joking, but...yeah. no pastrami. Slightly more recently their slicer was supposed to be broken. Today they were just out of pastrami. Its always something with these folks. I live an hour away. I guess i should only count on doing any grocery shopping 3 hrs round trip away in casper. 🤷🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

I recently went to the pharmacy suffering from very high anxiety...I had been to the doctor following all of the rules when my previous prescription had been misplaced during the packing up of Christmas. Because my prescription was a bit early I was told I needed a police report of all things. Calling other places they never heard of such a thing. It was NOT stolen. It was humiliating and ill never shop at that safeway period. I was made to feel like a common criminal. The drugstore filled it immediately.

The meat department came up with a new way to age beef ribs!!! The first time I seen this pack of ribs with the vacuum seal broke was three weeks ago,they are still the same color an not moldy!!!! Only 72$an something cents. One heck of a deal for for wet aged beef ribs.. there used to be two doors at the entrance,now only one!!!!! The store is so smart doing this,everyone is always in such a hurry... creating that bottle neck; has made people slow way down. An has Givin people a chance to per say "stop an smell the flowers." For a lack of a better way to say it. Also the store has figured out a way to stop the over population of chickens by using the extremely young small chickens for the hot deli selections,an smart enough to know that baby cow meat (veal) is more expensive than full grown cow meat. So they have applied that theory towards the rotisserie baby chickens!!!!! That being said whoever has come up with these ingenious ideas,I commend you I'm quite sure you have made your grandparents an parents proud!!!!!!!! Keep your awesome deductive thinking skills!!!!!!!!!!

It may look clean, but the restrooms, back areas tell a different story. Restrooms haven’t been cleaned since the store was built. Nor have they been ‘inspected’ in weeks - see dates on reports on both doors. 8/30. Pics taken 9/11. Parking lot hasn’t been weeded all year. No enough time to continue…….

This Safeway feels dirty and always seems to have water leaking from the freezer and refrigerated sections. A couple weeks ago when I was in the yogurt section there was a 1/2 empty glass of water in a Starbucks cup sitting on a shelf. When I went back a week later to get groceries the cup was still there. I’m also usually finding expired foods in the yogurt section and other refrigerated sections. Twice now in the last couple weeks our deli meat was rotten within 2 days of purchase and it was meat that was supposedly cut the day it was purchased. Since we live out of town it gets tossed and we are out the money.

If you sign up with phone number you can save a ton, especially if you online order and pickup there are usually coupons. Great selection and great produce

My favorite place the only place in douglas is shop. Good selection great produce friendly staff. Beef is excellent and bakery is awesome. Friendly staff and great prices
