Safeway

Came shopping here and because of the color of my skin I was following around talked about by employees and was made completely uncomfortable. Couldn't even finish buying my children food and diapers because of the racist staff on the clock.

Reiterating previous reviews, the cashiers are rude, never say thank you. I get being tired, I'm tired too! If you want a job dealing with customers...be nice!

Went in Safeway to buy some onions. As I was leaving I hear a big thud. I turn around and there's a senior citizen laying on the ground in the exit threshold. Why about five Safeway employees just stood there and looked and then they turned their back to him like they didn't see what happened. One of them was probably in his 30s with Ragnar lothbrook beard one was a small older woman with short gray hair and three cashiers the one that waited on me with long black hair and glasses. And I went over and said can't you get this guy some help. And they said oh I didn't see it and I said bologna I saw you seeing him laying there. Why didn't you call somebody without me having to come in here and get help I would have picked him up myself but I'm not strong enough. And I got the old well attitude. Safeway should really talk their employees about being more empathetic because someday they're going to be old and hopefully nobody will walk by then when they're in need of assistance.

I have never been treated so poorly by a cashier in my life. Unbelievably rude, and prior to me interrupting the personal conversation the elderly woman was having with her coworker, I could hear multiple obscenities from both women. They were unprofessional and beyond rude. I needed to switch one of the 3 items I was purchasing, and that was met with eye-rolling and slamming the items across the scanner. Won’t shop again.

Kim at this Safeway bakery is one of the best cake makers I’ve worked with and I’ve hosted a lot of parties in Denver. She’s a hidden treasure. She went above and beyond on this super man cake for our little Eva. Thank you, Kim!! Everyone was so impressed! 🥳

I ordered a cake from the bakery and its a small/medium cake and I got the smaller one thinking it would be cheaper and it was $140.00. Its not ugly but its also not worth $140.00. That is ridiculous.

Love Safeway. They are my go to grocery store at the moment. Their rewards program for healthy food is phenomenal. I also am super obsessed with their zesty wings they’re spicy but not like buffalo spicy. I love them.
