Mikhael's

This is a GREAT small diner. I walked in for brunch by myself and was greeted and seated immediately by the sweetest waitresses. They complimented my perfume and made sure I had everything I needed, even when I was busy texting. Their house hot sauce is SUPERB, and it seems like it is homemade! I ordered a ham and cheese omelet with hashbrowns and toast, the special for the day. It was delicious. Not too much food either; breakfast foods dont keep very well as leftovers, so it was nice to just eat my meal and feel satisfied but not overfed. They know the names of regulars who come in and everyone seemed very happy and quickly served.

I had been craving their hot beef and was finally on that side of town. Walked in and the waitress immediately said "hot beef" and I said yes and then she wanted to know what I needed to drink. The hot. Beef was delicious and as usual I needed a box for leftovers.

This is a decent breakfast place in Cedar Rapids. The service was really quick and the staff were really friendly. We ordered the veggie omelette with the American fries and white toast. We also ordered a hot chocolate and coffee. The portion size is really generous for a low price. The food was really tasty as well.

in town for a baseball trip and needed pregame food. This spot ended up being perfect for some hearty breakfast at a good price. It was a little busy but we were seated and served quickly. Even with the packed room our coffee never got cold. Food was excellent and the price was more than fair. Good place to stop off for some good old breakfast.

I’ve been here a few times and it’s always good. However this is the first time I’ve gotten the French toast. Freaking amazing! Not sure why I haven’t gotten it before, but I will definitely be getting it from now on. The service is always great and really friendly. This is a great place to eat a good lunch at a good price.

Mikhael's is a fabulous place to eat! The food has been delicious, and the service even better! Mikhael's will be on my "go-to" list when I'm in Cedar Rapids.

Had A pork tenderloin sandwich and a hamburger between my wife and I. Both items we ordered were very good and the people working there could not have been nicer. It seemed like every person in there knew each other‘s names, clearly a local place. If you’re traveling through this part of the city, you should stop and get some food. It’s very inexpensive and really good. It takes a few minutes to get your food but, when you receive it… It will be hot and tasty.
