I came inside to shop around, when I notice the male cashier seem to be new and doing his best on a guest. I wasn't upset and patient with the wait. The female cashier with the piercing on the nose, however, was rude. Instead of stating the line was in the middle nicely or decent matter she responds as we were idiots "the line is in the middle, hello?!" To think I wanted to work here, seems that things are not good with service. She needs to be retrained and respect the new employee as well.

The behavior of a staff member at the fye I went to was UTTERLY DISRESPECTFUL. I accidentally dropped a poster box two or three times and then i went to look at the shirts. I opened the shirt like a normal person would do to see if it fit and the staff member came up to me and said in a completely rude tone to stop throwing "HIS PRODUCT" on the floor and SLAMMING it on the table. As well as rudely saying not to open up his shirts. Isn’t that what you are supposed to do? Try it on and see the color? The color of the shirt i was looking at was different from the display and yet he said it’s the same. He acted like it was his store and everything was his property. Is it so wrong to be clumsy? Is it wrong to not know that you can’t open up a shirt? I was a paying customer and just about to buy until this guy completely ruined my shopping experience. To any retail worker, please remember to treat all customers with respect.

So, the first time I went in was about a day or on the mark of their initial opening. It also happened to be my birthday. The guys were chill and great to talk to. I went in for the first time since a few months ago. I was oddly completely ignored even though I needed help and wanted to know if they had specific things. I thought that maybe they weren't actually employees because they stood by the entrance talking with no one at the register area. I left that day without buying anything, and this past weekend I decided to check it out again since I was in the mall. There was a guy there behind the counter this time, and I gave him a nod and softly said 'hello'. He stared at me and watched me like I entered the wrong store, if you know what I mean. Feeling very uncomfortable with this, as that hadn't happened to me before in such a way, I just left. I wanted to make this store a favorite alongside Hot Topic but I don't think that's gonna be possible...

Around 530pm on Jan 8, 2022, we were in fye store, a Male cashier/owner whoever he is, was very very rude. My son was just trying to check on their products because he wanted to buy a shirt, but this guy was very rude telling my son not to open up the shirt because there is already a display but there isnt any display of that product. It was ok with us if that was the policy of the store, but the way is said it was in a very rude manner. My son was not alone, my husband was with him when this guy approached him. In my humble opinion, even if he is the owner of the store, he is not supposed to treat customers like that, or act rudely to customers. There is no way i would buy a product specially a clothing without checking if it is the right size for me. So friends and public, please for your own sake, do not go to FYE Westfield Topanga if you want to be treated with courtesy and respect as paying customers. I would never recommend FYE Topanga ever!!!

I went into fye to find a band shirt, and after asking where a band shirt that I saw was, the worker helping me looked at the shirt I wanted and said "Before you ask, we don’t have any larger sizes in the back. Everythings out here." Im plus size and hearing that from a skinny man was pretty offputting. Then he walked back to the register where his coworker was as I unfolded a shirt to hold it up to me to see if it fit. Then his co-worker mumbled to him that customers can’t unfold shirts. He then let me know and I awkwardly put it back and left the store. I definitely won’t be shopping from here for anything anymore, don’t even go here as a last resort.

It’s a nice store! Although I just didn’t like how the girl with a septum ring, glasses, and short hair had an attitude. I felt like if she was bothered/annoyed by interrupting her conversation with her coworker (who was nice‼️).

We just came from FYE Westfield Topanga 01/07/23 and at around 530pm, this rude and mean salesguy who acted like he owns FYE talked to my son telling him that he is not allowed to touch "his T-Shirt" and not to drop "his merchandise"(which my son accidentally dropped ) at "his store". I mean, he is in a WRONG job. How can one customer not open and touch a t-shirt that he wants to buy? FYE, are we, your customers not allowed to open your tshirts to see if it fits? By the way, we didn’t buy your product and just left. That salesguy, is not a good face of your store. Even if he is the owner of FYE, he’s not supposed to act like that to us. I feel bad for my 12 year old son for being humiliated by that FYE guy. STAY away from FYE Westfield Topanga.
