l've been coming to Journey Hair Salon for 2 years now and I couldn't recommend it more! It is such a welcoming, informative environment. I have learned so much about my hair's needs and how my lifestyle factors play a role in my hair health. I love how the treatments are individualized to the client's needs & Ms. Tomika takes the time to truly educate her clients. The salon experience is personable, relaxing, and high-quality.

I moved to Philadelphia in May 2013 and I’ve been searching for hairstylist since then. I went to over 30 different hair salons before discovering Journey Hair Salon in April 2021 Tamika did my hair for the first time and it was match made in hair heaven.. She and her assistant explained every step of my hair journey. She gave a breakdown of what I needed to do and what products would work bests in my hair.. The best natural hair stylist in Philadelphia!!!!!!!! I definitely would recommend her to every and anyone searching for a Great Natural Stylist!!!!!

Tomika(Owner) did a great job on my hair! Love the results! A bit pricey (no listing of prices on google)..my first encounter with someone really knowledgeable about hair. Shop was clean, professional and staff was friendly. Great I found a shop not to far from me that's African American owned

My first time visiting the salon on July 1st. I was greeted with respect by Tomeka and her assistant. Very Clean and Professional Business. The hair consultation I received was very informative about my hair. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be going back and Thank You again

When consulting on the services I had chosen to get done, tomeka was very honest and helpful. Awesome hair experience at Journey Hair Salon. Tomika is great, has great personality, very professional and loves what she does. She is very knowledgeable about hair and works to bring the best out of ones hair. I wanted a hair cut and color when I first reached out to Journey Hair Salon and spoke with Tomika. She was very nice and explained her procedures when it comes to hair coloring. The first day I met her for a skin test, she was very attentive and listened to what I wanted. On my hair appointment day, I wanted something different from what I had told her, she was very patient with me as I figured out the new look I wanted. I expected her to get mad but she did not. The best part of that is that she didn't push for my original look but encouraged me to find what I want and she will work with that. Yes, she did! The outcome was above beautiful!!! 😊😊😊😊 True I had a beautiful hair experience but I left with more than that. Tomika shares a lot of motivational life, self-care and wellbeing words. It's so encouraging to hear that especially with the daily stressors around. Personally, my experience at Journey Hair was more than just hair.
