I have been a patient of Dr. Kim Seok in NYC for over 10 years, and I can say without hesitation that he is one of the most caring, ethical, and dedicated doctors I have ever known. I originally found Dr. Kim after a traumatic experience with another dentist who caused serious damage to my teeth by performing unnecessary and aggressive work. At a young age, that dentist later lost his practice, but at the time my family and I — as immigrants — were simply too trusting and didn’t know how to advocate for ourselves, even though we had multiple insurances. Since switching to Dr. Kim, I have had the least amount of dental issues in my life. Where the previous dentist had me coming in constantly, Dr. Kim focused on restoring and preserving my teeth properly, with a long-term, conservative approach that truly prioritizes health over procedures. Dr. Kim has been there for me through major dental emergencies, and even when I was out of town, I knew I could count on him for guidance and honest advice. What truly sets him apart is how deeply he cares about his patients — not just clinically, but as people. Despite my family being spread across the country, Dr. Kim has treated three generations of my family. He has helped my grandfather, father, brother, and mother, often when they were only in NYC briefly visiting. He even went out of his way to advocate for my elderly grandfather from afar when he was being taken advantage of by another provider — something that speaks volumes about his integrity and character. Years ago, I even saw a top-of-the-line endodontist, and he could not stop talking about who did my incredible crown work — which was Dr. Kim. That moment really stayed with me and confirmed what I already knew: his work is exceptional and respected by other specialists. Dr. Kim is not someone who will ever recommend something that isn’t best practice. He is thoughtful, conservative, and ethical in his approach — never pushing aggressive or unnecessary treatments, and always explaining the long-term implications of every option. I often leave appointments feeling not just satisfied, but genuinely grateful. I recently moved to Seattle and booked a consultation with Dr. Kim while navigating dental care here. He helped me realize that a local dentist was trying to over-treat and overcharge me. Thanks to him, I was able to find a truly top-tier dentist in Seattle. For me, seeing a dentist I trust is worth a $400 flight to NYC any day. I will never make the mistake of compromising my dental care again. I miss Dr. Kim and his practice dearly, and if there is ever a reason for me to return to New York, it will be to sit in his dental chair. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Kim and his dental hygienist, Paulina. Both were incredibly friendly, patient, and thorough, and they took the time to answer all of my questions without ever making me feel rushed. The cleaning itself was excellent and very thorough — one of the best I’ve had. The visit felt calm, thoughtful, and genuinely caring, which is not always easy to find in a dental practice. I left feeling very well taken care of and confident in the care I received. I highly recommend this practice.

I just started going to this place last year and I love it! Yes everyone hates going to the dentist lol but the front desk is very friendly and welcoming. Thats a plus. The front desk can make or break a practice. Even better that the Hygenist ( sorry if i spelled that wrong) is the sweetest and is very careful and gentle when doing a cleaning. Last but not least Dr Kim! Amazing, he explains everything to you from beginning to end. To the work thats gettig done and any costs associated with it. Definitely sticking to this place.

Honestly, this is the best dental clinic I’ve ever been to. Everyone is super nice and makes you feel comfortable the second you walk in. The place is really clean and welcoming too. Dr. Kim is amazing! He’s so nice, explains everything in a way that makes sense, and you can tell he truly cares about her patients. Going to the dentist usually stresses me out, but with them it feels easy. Highly recommend this clinic if you’re looking for great care and an awesome doctor!

Dr. Kim is truly responsible and incredibly attentive to each patient’s needs — honestly, one of the best doctors in New York. While many places in New York tend to recommend unnecessary treatments or push for excessive procedures, Dr. Kim always gives honest, thoughtful advice and focuses only on what’s truly needed. Every explanation is detailed and clear, and the care before and after treatment is exceptional. I’ve seen many doctors in New York, but none have shown this level of sincerity, professionalism, and genuine care. I can confidently say that Dr. Kim is the most trustworthy and skilled doctor in New York.

Our amazing dentist Dr.Kim truly puts patients interest above all else, making us feel comfortable and cared for throughout our visits. The office is well-maintained, and the staff are genuinely friendly and professional. A special shoutout to the best hygienist, Paulina, who provided outstanding service and made our cleaning a breeze. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for top-notch dental care!

Great dentist, one of the best in NYC. Great service, thorough too. Dentist came in on a Saturday for a quick adjustment too. Also they use 3d scanners, like how they use it in South Korea.
