When I called my mother after leaving Dental Nook and told her that I found a dentist I love and trust, she was shocked to say the least. My dental anxiety is so bad that I thought I was going to give up after the last bad experience at a dentist office in the Springs. But Dr. Zara and Dillon were so amazing, that I was totally fine. At one point, Dr Z was comforting me as she pulled my tooth out. Dillon is just so amazing and funny. Their bedside manner made me want to come back, and that speaks volumes. Dillon deserves some kind of award for being the friendliest and most efficient dental tech in the state, and Dr. Z should give Ted talks to all the other dentists about how not to be an abrupt and distressing provider and instead make your patients comfortable. She is awesome. I am finally going to get the care I’ve needed without being overly anxious or in pain. I’ve seen 10 dentists in Colorado, and this one is in a league of its own! Seriously, you need to go see Dr Z and Dillon! They’ll make your mouth and your day so much better!
I have nothing but great things to say about this office and staff. Both Dr. Cantua and Dr. Wilkinson are kind, thorough, exceptional dentists, and the staff is caring and makes you feel right at home. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for fantastic dental care.
Went in for an emergency appointment to address some pain. I was greeted so kindly and the welcoming and calm atmosphere was maintained throughout my experience which really helped ease my anxiety. The treatment was clearly explained, I got to see my X-rays and hear the results of certain tests and I felt much more comfortable than other offices I’ve visited. A huge thanks to Dr and assistants for a most comfortable experience.
Unfortunately, my experience at Dental Nook was very frustrating from start to finish. I arrived for my 9:00 AM appointment and was told they were in a morning team huddle. After getting my profile photo taken as a new patient, I waited in the lobby until about 9:15. Dylan eventually brought me back for X-rays, and I want to note that he was efficient, friendly, and did a great job. After the X-rays, I waited in the chair for about 30 minutes before the dentist came in. She apologized and mentioned she needed to speak with another patient, left the room, then returned later to complete my exam. During the exam, we discussed a cracked tooth that was cutting my tongue. The dentist told me it should be an easy fix and could be completed that same day in about an hour and a half. After the exam, I waited another 15 minutes for the insurance coordinator. She told me they could not do the work that day and would need to submit to insurance first to see if it would even be covered — which directly contradicted what the dentist had just told me. She mentioned she was new and needed to check, then came back and confirmed they couldn’t do anything. After I left, I received a call saying they found a way to get me in the next day. Unfortunately, that didn’t work with my schedule. They then offered the following Monday, which also didn’t work. I asked if, since this was an emergency with a cracked tooth, anything could be shifted. The doctor said no. I ended up spending half my day there for X-rays and a new patient exam, even though the sole reason I came in was for my broken tooth. Now I have to start completely over with another dentist while still dealing with the issue. Overall, poor communication, long wait times, and a lack of urgency for what was clearly an emergency situation. Very disappointing experience.
This place was very great to visit and a relief. I had a dental emergency and they were on it right away from the time I called. No scheduling another appointment they took care of it immediately and were thourough in explaining everything to me and fair with pricing. They even have their own coverage plans if youre uninsured. Would defnitely recommend.
I followed Dr. Cantua to the Dental Nook when he launched the practice because he’s a trustworthy, skilled, and dedicated dentist. On my last visit, he kindly fit me in for two last-minute root canals and his assistant Dylan worked adeptly and efficiently while making the experience better with his gracious manner and compassion.
I had a great experience at the Dental Nook. Everyone was so nice and welcoming, the dental assistant was so wonderful and so was Dr. Doré. I didn’t feel rushed at all and felt as though they genuinely cared.
