Dublin Modern Dentistry

BEWARE!! If I could give this dental office 0 stars I would. I sincerely regret giving them my business and trusting them with my child. Money is their number one priority. If referred to their oral surgeon, please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Management even called to offer a refund then requested we remove our review…. We met with their orthodontist, Dr. Lane, who recommended 4 teeth extractions due to over crowding/blocking teeth that needed to come in. Once extracted, he recommended coming back in 3-6 months for another consultation. Next I scheduled a consultation with the pediatric dentist, Dr. Rawlings, for the extractions. Upon arrival, the Ped dentist stated the orthodontist didn't leave coherent notes but her recommendation was to remove 6 teeth (the 4 original teeth planned to be removed and 2 baby teeth). I was surprised and expressed my concern with the difference in their recommendations. At this point there was a lot of confusion and my daughter exhibited some anxiety over everything. Dr. Rawlings stated she would not be willing to schedule the extraction due to my daughter's anxiety and we would need to be referred to the oral surgeon for anesthesia. Due to the confusion, I sought out a second opinion from an unaffiliated pediatric orthodontist. He gave virtually the same recommendation as Dr. Lane & Dr. Rawlings. I decided to stay with Modern Family Dentistry because we were already established there. Big mistake. I proceeded with a consultation with the oral surgeon, Dr. Blamires. At the consultation Dr. Blamier's went over the procedure and what to expect with the anesthesia. He expressed NO concerns nor did he perform an exam. Looking back that was a red flag. Then on the day of surgery (after my daughter was already on an IV) Dr. Blamires entered the room and began questioning the procedure. He was aggressive, unprofessional and rude. He practically accused us of removing teeth simply because we wanted to. I explained why the procedure needed to happen based on the recommendation of 2 pediatric orthodontists. He waited until the very last minute to question a planned procedure despite having a consultation with him the month prior where he expressed ZERO concerns. It literally felt as if the consultation never happened or that he didn't properly review my daughter's file. He's a contractor with Modern Family Dentistry who is only in this office once a month. Furthermore, I was given an estimate for the procedure and charged that price upon arrival. While I was in the back preparing for said procedure, staff approached my husband in the waiting room and charged us $400 more with no explanation. I wasn't aware of the extra charge until we were already home. I called the office to inquire about the price change and the front desk staff seemed confused and gave a random reason. I requested to speak with someone who could explain the discrepancy and was placed on hold. After a long wait, I was told no one was available to speak with me. I requested a call back but never received one. It wasn't until my husband posted an honest review of our negative experience that the office manager, Stephanie, reached out to me. During that conversation, she stated multiple times that they "wanted to make it right and wanted us to know they care so they were going to refund us the $400". It honestly felt like an implication that all we cared about was the money. I stated that the price discrepancy wasn't the problem. The real problem was our experience with staff, especially Dr. Blamires. Ironically enough, despite her repeated remarks that "they care" she did not once ask how my child's recovery was going. In fact, at the end of our conversation, after stating again that they wanted to refund us the money, she then requested that my husband remove his review. She said they are a newer office and that negative reviews affect their ability to obtain customers (not patients…customers). I've cancelled all future appointments and will not be returning, ever.

I was seen as a new patient here at Dublin and the experience was as good as it can get! I enjoyed the entire experience. The front desk ladies Stephanie and Raelyn were very helpful and friendly. My dental assistant Arrianna was super sweet and accommodating. Dr.Rawlings was very thorough in my exam and cleaning and explained everything perfectly. I will most definitely be recommending my loved ones to this practice! Oh and another thing, the office is very clean and pretty, the modern technology there is pretty awesome! Thank you Dublin!

I was seen at this office and had a great experience. The office is super clean and beautiful. The dentist I seen, Dr.Meehan was very professional and thorough in the exam. I needed a crown on my front tooth and was able to get it done the same day. The dental assistant Arrianna was very helpful and was very knowledgeable in all that she was doing. I highly recommend coming to Dublin for all your dental needs. I will be recommending my family and friends here 🤩

The front office staff are very welcoming start to finish. Dr.Encinias and Aubrey were very friendly. I hadn’t been to a dentist in years and already knew I needed several things addressed. I felt very comfortable despite feeling embarrassed at the state in which my teeth were in. Come to find out I needed a deep cleaning first with the hygienist Jenn, who was so kind and efficient! Everyone addressed my concerns with clarity and understanding making my experience the best I’ve had! I am excited to continue my dental care here!

Dr. Rawlings and her dental assistant Ariana were very professional, polite, and efficient. I had to have 4 crowns done. Dr. Rawlings suggested that I do 2 at a time and this turned out to be an excellent suggestion. I had two done just before Christmas and the permanent crowns came in very timely and I was able to make an immediate appointment to get them put on. I came back and did the other two after the new year and received a very timey appointment and excellent service once again. I will recommend Dublin Modern Dentistry and Dr. Rawlings and her dental assistant Ariana to all my friends and family. Overall, a great experience.

Dublin Modern Dentistry is awesome!! The technology is amazing, and the doctors, dental assistants and office team are wonderful. I especially want to give a big shout-out to Dr. Seabaugh who truly listens, is very thorough, knowledgeable and efficient; Joyelle who is excellent at her job, proactive and very kind; as well as Lesile who is fast and efficient and can whip a quote out in no time.

I brought my 18month old for an appt and was so fortunate to have been seen by Dr. Rawlings. She made the experience easy and fun, and we went the entire visit without a single tear! I ended up scheduling an appt for myself w/ Dr.Rawlings as well and was pleasantly surprised by the price and equally as happy with the level of care. I love that our whole family can be seen by the same dentist. Highly recommend.
