Dr. F there prescription is not helpful at all and whatever I had just choose to make me worse conditions when I read all the medications side effects that Dr. F prescribed. Not recommended. I already explained to S the reason I have to go to another clinic . First visit of Dr = my last visit of AHSC. S is really nice and helpful. She’s the only reason I gave 2 stars. The doctor F there just the worst doctor I have ever met….dr is smart but when Dr prescribed something make me worse and I found out. That’s not the Doctor I need.

So I was eager to find this place for my own needs. They were easy to get a hold of and get a return call. I made contact to them, they called me back to schedule an overview over the phone. I told them my background in that I was a kidnapped child from Taiwan forced into assimilation of white people because white people are who kidnapped me. They told me there was a Taiwanese staff member that maybe could be my therapist. I was so excited ro hear this as I’ve never had this resource before. It had me in tears. I’ve been suffering alone for so long. I did the overview with them which was traumatizing; going through my past, itemizing traumas and symptoms of those traumas. I’ve done a lot of work on myself through other therapy but I still needed an empathetic witness around what I lost culturally. I thought this center would help me. So after a 1.5+. Hour overview/intake I’m told to wait for a call from them. And they did call me back. They called me back to tell me they couldn’t help me. And honestly I wish they would have said NO WE CANT HELP YOU before I retraumatized myself expressing all that happened. The person on the phone was nice but obviously my story was anecdotal for them to hear but for me it was retraumatizing. And I think this office should know their capacity to help someone before making them air out all their trauma to a stranger on the phone. Just tell people upfront you don’t have time for more clients. Don’t waste traumatized people’s time And don’t retraumatize them.
