I love this salon. I don't get to go often, but I love it when I do. Koco is knowledgeable, communicative, and kind. I've learned some tips on how to better care for my hair during our session. She engages her clients and I really enjoyed that. I look forward to receiving future services with her.

Where do I even start? The building’s ambiance and aesthetics are absolutely stunning, but what’s even more impressive is the level of talent and customer service provided by the stylists. I’ve struggled for years to find a salon that truly caters to natural hair, offers versatile styling options, and respects my busy schedule. This team has delivered every single time!!! We’ve finally found our permanent salon home! I can’t say enough great things about the establishment, the stylists, the owner, and the overall experience. I’ll definitely be referring all of my family and friends!

I just spent $110 and walked out of this salon very disappointed and dissatisfied! Kelsea did a rush job on my hair and it looks nothing like the person who recommended me. I’m no professional but I have done my hair in flat twist better than this. 12 flat twist total and 9 individual in the front with a trim. She did not manage her time well and did a rush job on my hair so that she could get to her next client.

This was my first visit here, and I am so glad I decided to come. I am new to Memphis, and I was looking for a good beautician for my natural hair. I have had an ABUNDANCE of bad beauticians. I chose Victoria when booking my service, and I’m glad I did. She is so professional and knowledgeable. She was gentle with my hair. She is extremely nice and I loved the experience. I will be returning! UPDATE: My mom has cancer and lost all her hair. Out of support, I cut my locs. I have been working on growing my hair back just to return to this place. Chi started my previous locs and she is amazing! Perfect parting, just great overall. I went back today for a consult. I have never had a bad experience here, and I am grateful for that. I am so excited for Chi to start my locs again.

Neisha always does an amazing job on my hair. I came in with "natural heat damaged hair" that I hadn't permed in 3 years. She let me know that flat ironing killed my curl pattern in some areas. She gave me the cutest natural cut and is very skilled at braiding. Neisha has done very artistic, unique lemonade braids (3 times on my hair), a natural updo, organic color and faux dreads on my hair. She did split color box braids on my daughters hair that has lasted longer than ANY box braids my child has had. Another thing about Neisha, is that she will do what's best for your hair. She won't attempt something just because you want it, she explains why it may not work and what would work best. Whatever the issue with my hair, she ALWAYS makes it gorgeous! I've never had so many compliments on my hair since going to Neisha at A Natural Affair. Her styles are unique and even if I dont know what I want, she's an artist so she figures it out with the most pleasant and sweet spirit. Neisha stays booked for braiding, so once you get your first appointment and love it, it's best to go ahead and schedule your next appointment or you may be waiting for longer than you think.
