Terrible experience. I booked an appointment with Ben Barber and showed up 10 minutes early. Instead of honoring my appointment, he let one of his community friends skip ahead of me. When I asked about it, he told me to wait. To make it worse, he charged me $35 for the haircut while I saw his community guy pay only $30. When I questioned him, he just said "prices went up." Completely unprofessional, unfair, and disrespectful. I will never come back here.

Absolutely love my haircut! First, the hair washing and scalp massage was luxurious and relaxing. Then Ben took the time to give me the best haircut I think I’ve ever had. I have thin, fine hair with cowlicks going all over the place, and he gave me a cut that works WITH my hair! He was recommended to me by several friends, and I’ll be telling everyone about this salon!

Family owned local business who has amazing customer service. Very knowledgeable and friendly and hard working. They moved to memphis and opened up a business here. I found them by accident. But I am so thankful I did!! I have been getting the Japanese hair straightening system done on my hair for 5 years in Houston. It’s the exact opposite of a perm. Instead of making your hair curly- it makes it straight. Until new hair grows out. They have been doing this for over 20 year and use the best products available. I know- I’ve done my own research. They also charge very fair prices. It depends on your hair length, thickness, and other factors. So happy I found them!!!

Asked for a wolfcut, initial result was very unsatisfactory, but after a few days my hair grew out and styled very nicely! Make sure you specify length when getting a hair cut here, and beware that they aren't afraid to ask tips!

I couldn’t be happier with my experience! The staff are incredibly friendly! They took the time to listen to what I wanted and offered thoughtful suggestions to make sure I’d leave satisfied. Their patience stood out the most—no rush at all, even close to their closing time! The pricing was very reasonable for the excellent quality of service provided! If you’re looking for a salon with talented professionals, fair pricing, and an overall enjoyable experience, I highly recommend this one!!!
