LifeTime Dermatology: Ann E. Hern MD

I have been seeing Doctor Ann Hern for over fifteen years and she is an outstanding doctor who knows her stuff and is very nice. The front staff is always very nice to me and has treated me with respect. I don't know why some people have complained about the office staff because I have never been treated like that. Doctor Hern always tries to save me money by finding coupons for my prescriptions and checking the prices before she decides on what prescriptions she is going to give me. Finally Doctor Ann Hern is one of the best doctors I have ever been too.

Dr Hern helped me out with a laser treatment. She’s wonderful and super nice! The office is to die for! It’s super cute that she sells wide brim beach hats in the waiting room. The staff has a family vibe I really appreciated. The bathroom was spotless! Dr. Hern is a beautiful woman who loves to help her patients.

I was just called by Dr. Herns office telling me that she did not have the skills to treat a psoriasis patient. She referred me out to other doctors recommending me to see them using old treatment methods without every seeing me or evaluating me or my case. It appears that this office does not like it when you ask to only see the doctor and not the Physician Assistants (PA). I do not like paying full price for a doctor when I am told I need to see a PA, because I requested to see the doctor she refused to see me or evaluate me, however recommended a treatment without seeing me. I would not recommend this doctor's office. I will inform my Blue Cross Blue Shield Referral service of my experience and ask them to post this feedback on there referral website for this doctor.

Dr. Hern was my doctor many years ago. She seemed rather competent. However, I called the office and was told I was no longer a patient and not welcome to return. After I asked why I wasn't allowed to return, Dr. Hern herself got on the phone and angrily said, "you know why and you are not welcome here again." I found the whole thing odd, almost comical because they seemed so unhinged. To this day I have no idea what the heck they were talking about. So odd. Wouldn't have gone back anyway. She wasn't that good.

Love this Doctor. She knows her stuff. Have been going here for 8 years. The staff is so professional yet friendly. I have recommended her many times.
