This was my first time visiting Las Olas Family Dental, and I was honestly blown away. From the moment I walked in, the hospitality was top-tier and the office was spotless and well organized. The receptionist Nan was incredibly welcoming and made the check-in process smooth and stress-free. Jason, the dentist, did an excellent job onboarding me, explaining everything clearly, and taking the time to answer all of my questions without ever feeling rushed. You can really tell they care about their patients and their experience. I felt comfortable, informed, and well taken care of the entire visit. Highly recommend Las Olas Family Dental to anyone looking for a professional, friendly, and clean dental office!

I recently visited Las Olas Family Dental and had a great experience from start to finish. Nan at the front desk was extremely polite, kind, and very understanding when I arrived a little late. She made the check-in process easy and stress-free. Mary was wonderful—very gentle, explained exactly what she was doing throughout the visit, and offered helpful suggestions for improvement. She made me feel comfortable the entire time. Overall, the entire staff was welcoming and professional. I felt at ease throughout my visit and would highly recommend Las Olas Family Dental to anyone looking for a caring and attentive dental office.

I was extremely stressed when I broke my front tooth. I’m currently in Fort Lauderdale temporarily for work, and while this wasn’t part of the plan, I obviously couldn’t walk around with a broken front tooth—especially while here on business. Like anyone in an emergency, I searched for dentists and several practices came up, but I trusted my instincts and chose Las Olas Family Dental—and I am so grateful that I did. They scheduled me immediately and got me into the office within 24 hours, which alone was such a relief. I walked in feeling overwhelmed and anxious. I know to some it’s "just a tooth," but when it’s your front tooth—and when life is already throwing a lot at you—it can feel like the final straw. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in the right place. I was greeted by Nan at the front desk, who I lovingly call the CPU of the office—because she truly is the heart and soul of it. She is an absolute sweetheart. Her energy, sincerity, warmth, and genuine care immediately calmed me down. She could see how stressed I was, held my hand, gave me a hug, and made me feel safe and cared for. That moment alone told me I was in a place where people truly care. I was also nervous going in because it’s Las Olas, and I assumed it might be very pricey. Being here temporarily, I don’t have unlimited funds available, so that was a real concern for me. But to my surprise, they were incredibly fair, transparent, and thoughtful. Both Dr. Sevel and Nan took the time to go over multiple options, explained what the best solution was for my situation, and walked me through pricing clearly and honestly. Nan even shared what she would consider if she were in my shoes, which meant so much to me. There was zero pressure—just education, care, and compassion. They were able to temporarily restore my tooth, and I walked out looking like nothing had happened (with instructions to be careful, of course). The options they provided were affordable and reasonable, and most importantly, I never felt taken advantage of. What also stood out to me was the atmosphere of the office. Patients coming in and out had clearly been going there for years, and that says everything. Having a good relationship with your dentist is so important—it’s your mouth, your smile, your confidence, and often the first thing people notice about you. The team here understands that and treats you with that level of respect. As they worked on me, they took their time, explained every step of the process, and made sure I was comfortable throughout. Alexis was also wonderful, and honestly, every single person I encountered in that office was kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. I left with a smile on my face, feeling calm, relieved, and cared for—and I knew I had to write this review so others could feel safe choosing this office, especially in an emergency. It’s so hard to pick a dentist last minute, especially if you’ve had bad experiences in the past (as I have), but they made it okay. They made it better. I am absolutely looking forward to going back when I’m in town again. Please don’t hesitate to come here. They are not overpriced, they are fair, they explain everything, they give you options, and they are not there to rip a hole in your pocket. They are just genuinely amazing people. Nan—you are incredible. Front desk staff are the most important part of any office, and you made me feel seen, safe, and okay. Thank you all so much. You will not regret coming here. 💙

I’m so happy I found this dentist office. I just moved to Ft. Lauderdale and was in need of a new dentists. I was having issues with getting my old dental records and Nan at the front desk helped tremendously even taking time out of her own day to contact my old dental office. They treated me like family from the first phone call. Upon my arrival for the first appointment the doctors and staff were amazing! The doctors explained everything thoroughly and even showed and explained what we were looking at on the x-rays. The staff all works together like a well oiled machine. I’ve never had this experience at any other dentist office. Prices are great and they will not rip you off. I recommend this office! 10/10

I recently had the worst tooth pain I have ever felt. I came to see Dr. Sevel and he was the best dentist I’ve ever seen he was so caring and you could tell he really wants to help his patients. The office was so nice and clean. I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Sevel and everyone who works in the office. Nan at the front desk took so much time to help me schedule my follow up appointments and explain everything to me. They are truly amazing and I highly recommend anyone to go see Dr. Sevel if you need a dentist!

Recently moved to the area and hadn’t found a dentist yet. Chipped my front tooth, called up the office and was immediately accommodated by the team. Everyone I came into contact with was so lovely and friendly, and that goes such a long way when you have dentist PTSD! Nan on the front desk is an absolute credit to the place, Alexis was so lovely, and Dr Sevel fixed my tooth right up. Definitely the best dental office experience I’ve had in years.

Love this place!! All of the staff are amazing! Payton was so patient and professional. Nan always goes above and beyond to help with scheduling. The doctor is friendly and caring. So happy good friend recommended them to me.
