If you’re like me, going to the dentist usually feels like signing up for a low-budget horror film… dramatic lighting, mysterious tools, and you silently questioning every life choice that led you there. Thankfully, NewStar Dental is NOT that movie. From the moment I walked in, the experience was refreshingly straightforward and comfortable. What stood out most was their price transparency, they truly stick to their word. The team was upfront about costs, future treatment possibilities (like cavities, cracks, or even root canal scenarios), and didn’t try to surprise me with hidden fees later. That alone deserves a standing ovation in today’s healthcare world. They also offer a membership pricing option, which is a great alternative for anyone without traditional dental insurance. It’s practical, affordable, and honestly a smart setup. The office itself was very clean, the staff was kind and welcoming, and the doctor had a calm, reassuring demeanor that made the visit far less stressful than expected. And as a bonus… I can ride my bike there, which somehow makes dental responsibility feel slightly cooler. Overall, while I’ll probably never love going to the dentist (who does?), NewStar Dental makes the experience feel more like a routine pit stop than a suspense thriller. Professional, transparent, and genuinely pleasant, highly recommended.

I am incredibly happy with our visit to New Star Dental Clinic! We brought our daughter here, and she received the best dental cleaning she has ever had. We’ve had issues finding a specialist who could properly clean her teeth before, but the results here were absolutely magnificent. Her teeth are visibly whiter and feel perfectly clean. A huge thank you to the doctors for their professionalism and careful attention. We now know exactly where to go! We will definitely be back.

I visited this office today after calling in about potentially needing a filling due to some sensitivity I’d noticed in my tooth. I waited briefly before being taken to the dentist’s chair. Once there, the dentist arrived within a few minutes and after barely greeting me proceeded to stick me in my mouth with a needle WITH NO WARNING. He then stuck me in the gum with a metal object and after realizing I was not yet numb was about to stick me with the needle again. I asked him to wait because he was numbing me in the LEFT side of my mouth when I came in about a concern on the RIGHT side of my mouth. Long story short, he was preparing to work on the wrong tooth. He pointed at the tooth he was preparing to work on and mentioned that he recommended at my last cleaning session. That was not, in fact, the tooth I had come in about since that tooth was not actually giving me any trouble. Rather than confirm we were on the same page for treatment, he just stuck me in the mouth with a numbing agent. This dentist has no bedside manner and lacks the basic communication skills you expect in a medical professional. I am in complete shock at what I experienced today and hope this review will help this practice improve its processes. I will absolutely not be returning, that I can say for sure.

Enjoyed the experience the x-ray technician was really good and experienced, the doctor developed a fantastic treatment plan that would work around my schedule and payment. The receptionist was very good. Overall I'm recommending this to my wife ....she's next LOL

I had a cleaning, fillings, a tooth treated, and a crown placed here, and everything was done carefully and with great quality. Very friendly and helpful staff. They went above and beyond to assist me with my dental records. Dr. Severchenko was extremely knowledgeable and took time to explain my options thoroughly. He also made my wisdom tooth extraction quick, easy and virtually painless with helpful follow up care instructions. The new office is clean and very easy to access. Highly recommend!
