I was recommended to see Dr. Kim by a dentist I saw for an emergency appointment. Dr. Kim is such a lovely person and doctor. I felt so comfortable the whole time I was having my root canal. She took the time to just ask me questions and ask how I was doing and proceeded to answer all of the questions I had, which weren’t many. It was one of the best experiences I had at any doctor’s office. I’ve been recommending and singing her praises since. If you need to see an endo, please see her!

Is there a rating higher than 5*?!!! Dr. Kim gave me the best dental experience in my life a few weeks ago! After another dentist had failed to figure out what was causing me excruciating pain for a while, despite multiple scans, my wife referred me to her dentist at Slim Dental who quickly figured out what the problem could be and sent me to Dr. Kim! I must say this was a moment of redemption. As soon as I went in, Dr. Kim explained to me every procedure and then went ahead to perform a root canal. I’d had two root canals in the past which were anything but pleasant. While I was still wondering when the actual root canal was going to begin, Dr. Kim delightfully announced that it was all done. She was thorough with her work, and explained to me what the problem was. I couldn’t believe it, because I believed all root canals were painful and no amount of local anaesthesia could stop the painful experience. I still can’t believe I found this dentist! Go see her, and you won’t regret it!

Dr Kim puts people first. Her communication was at all times personable, professional and deeply caring. She spent the time consulting prior to each stage of my root canal treatment to help me understand the treatment and the steps involved. In the chair she was prompt yet gentle, and an evident perfectionist. She followed up with a call to see how I was feeling the day after the treatment which spoke to her genuine approach. I would recommend Dr Kim to anyone needing endodontic treatment, she will not only treat the pain promptly but with a lovely demeanor not many specialists imbue. Thankyou Dr Kim for fixing my pain!

I had a root canal emergency, and I was lucky to find Dr. Kim. My dental insurance did not cover this endodontic emergency, but Dr. Kim’s staff was very kind, and helped me to set up a financial arrangement that worked for me. My root canal treatment required a specialist, and Dr. Kim did an excellent job. Her communication was very professional and caring. An extra plus for the choice of music that was playing in the background. I get very anxious at the dentist’s, but listening to that beautiful music helped me a lot. Thank you Dr. Kim!

Dr. Choi is fantastic! He takes an evidenced based approach to his treatment, very articulate to explain each step including the statistics of success. He includes you in his treatment decisions as a partner and not a patient. Extremely knowledgeable on the best approaches for you! Very keen to details and consults with other experts to provide the best treatment. It's rare finding a dentist who cares for you & long term health of your teeth. The team is deeply concern for you to make you as comfortable during the procedure and any follow ups. He treats his staff with respect and cultivated a safe environment for his patients and his team, especially during these uncertain times.

Dr. Kim and Dr. Choi are both absolutely amazing!! I had such a dental emergency going on and they really treated my suffering with the utmost importance and care. Dr. Choi fixed a failed root canal from another doctor and did excellent work. I was also misdiagnosed by a previous doctor. I had a massive infection in the tooth next to the root canal. Dr. Kim stayed to figure out the issue and stayed after hours from 5-7:30pm on Friday of memorial day weekend!! to treat and drain the infection because I was bawling and panting in excruciating pain, and she refused to let that be (although please don't make this kind dr stay late like I did! lol). She kept saying how thankful she was that she stayed late because I would have been in such terrible pain (such sincere kindness and empathy!!), and may end up in the ER without any good options. It was a scary experience but they and everyone in their office made me feel safe. Thank you again to everyone in this practice - my heroes!!
