Anniversary dinner. Last time we ate here was 1976! The food was exceptional; my beef was perfect med-rare and tender, the garlic mashed potatoes fantastic, the sea scallops great. We asked for warm bread and the server brought it out quickly. All servers were very attentive. Now for three things that could be improved: first, the wood tables and chairs are very tired and outdated. Second, the harsh ceiling can lights are awful - black metal Euro-style pendant lights or chandys would be so much better and classy. And last, the prices were very high for the amt of food (mine as ex) three scallops and three beef medallions with mashed and green beans for $43? Husband's filet was $60, whew! So though it was nice we probably won't return, sorry.

This place was very great . A hidden gem just right off of Main street in Grand Junction Colorado. This place has been here since it 1st opened in 1973. The service was exceptional. Food was awesome will definitely be back

My partner and I had dinner here celebrating our 2 year anniversary. Right as we walk in we are welcomed and the manager (I think) greeted us and congratulated us on our 2 years. The atmosphere was perfect and very romantic for such an occasion. Our server, Tyler was very attentive, friendly, and well versed on the seasonal menu items as well as a great recommendation for my glass of champagne. The prosciutto wrapped pork loin and seasonal chili rub lamb chop was the phenomenal! My only regret is that I didn’t also get the lamb for myself and that it was seasonal. Creme brûlée was delicious and the brownie with ice cream and caramel desert was on the house for our anniversary and also amazing. Thank you everyone for such a great dining experience! This will definitely be an annual celebration for us!

One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. We read a bad review talking about the owner and it was 100% wrong! The owner greeted us when we walked in and he was the friendliest restaurateur I’ve ever met. The server (Tyler) was incredible, the steaks were amazing and the atmosphere was incredible. They have their own plate ware designed specifically for the restaurant and it really adds to the whole experience. I don’t remember when I had a better overall restaurant experience. If I could give 25 stars, I would. BTW…their specialty cocktails were wonderful as well. We will definitely return every time we are in town!

Ryan, our server, was wonderful. Very polite and accommodating. I probably took too much time with the wine menu, but their wine list is extensive and has a wide spread of vintages. My lady had the salmon (the tomato made the salmon pair with a great bottle of ‘17 Justification) and I had the ribeye. Excellent pairing, excellent service. We will be back!

Great personable service and a delicious meal. Kyle, our bartender/waiter was on point with cocktails, entree selection and descriptions. The food we had, calamari, spring salad, Filet Oscar style and the ‘Palisade’ dessert were all delicious and delectable. This was a near perfect dining experience. We’ll be back. Thank you!

Kyle was the bartender/waiter and suggested the blue cheese encrusted steak. It was perfectly cooked! It came with choice of side and I got 3 cheese augratin potatoes. Kyle brought sour dough bread that was soft and delicious. I got a peach cream soda. The food and service was superb.
