Parking sucks, chemistry teacher was scared of her own shadow and took her TWO days to review powers of ten. Job assistance after graduation is a joke. Spends too much money on basketball courts and football, not enough on real academics. Like interpretive dance will fix my computer or make the power company fix the power transformer. Needs real teaching and not just lame lectures.

I’m Alumini at cmu, I paid every single payment on time and would sometimes even pay extra just to help myself in the long run. They took money out of my account without my knowledge. They also took my tax return. and when they took money out of my account without my knowledge, they didn’t refund me the money they took out. I’m very disappointed in cmu and I’m not proud to have gone to the school.

Outdated use of PowerPoint programs, extra unnecessary steps to many things, very complicated in too many areas, could be better all around dunno if it will become better all around as far as easier software usage goes and using programs that move quicker and efficiently

Former student here. Transferring out of CMU to finish my degree elsewhere was the best career decision I ever made. They have a lot of fantastic faculty, but the leadership is awful. They also allow hate speech on campus which is unforgivable.

Seems like a great school, until you transfer. I was a biology major, come to find out none of my biology credits transfer. According to my new school the classes aren’t adequate. On top of that a lecture/lab is 4 credits at CMU, and most other colleges it’s 6 credits. So, unless you plan to graduate at CMU. Be very cautious of your credit, and time here.. Also, like a previous comment here. They will take your tax return if you owe any money to CMU. I shouldn’t have wasted my time here.

Beautiful campus. I held a meeting at the University Center, and had a wonderful experience with great facilities, all the tech needed for a presentation, with excellent communication. Thank you!

As a former student I cannot recommend Colorado Mesa University. The politics of this university are outrageous it is all about who can get a step up on who and who they can screw over in process. It is not a welcoming environment for students. The education is subpar, the faculty is not concerned about the students but the money they bring in. There were several instances throughout my time here that I asked for help or assistance and did not even get a response. They are more concerned about pushing content down the throats if their students than making sure you understand. A person can learn more by simply entering the workforce. I cannot reiterate enough how ripped off I feel by this school, from the lack of care to the lack of actual educating that goes on here. Again don’t go here if you actually value your education, it simply isn’t worth it. I feel like I have a degree that is useless because I didn’t actually learn anything.
