Kayla Mae Hair

I have been going to Kayla for years -- I cannot recommend her services highly enough! She's incredibly talented and I trust her completely with my hair. Kayla has been so good at gently taking me out of my "hair comfort zone" (which used to be quite small) and she nails it every single time. My hair has never been healthier and she always makes sure I know how to style the cut myself. Literally the best!

Kayla is amazing! She has completely transformed my hair. Before I first came to Kayla, I had been using box dye very regularly. My hair was unhealthy and I felt so hopeless with the color and style. Kayla walked me through taking care of my hair and was always very careful to not damage it. I have never received as many compliments as I do now on my hair! It has honestly never looked better and I will be a client of hers for a long time! Not only does she know what she’s doing, but she’s an awesome person too!

I have been going to Kayla to get my hair cut and colored for 6 years now! I truly think she is one of the best stylist in the city and she knows how to keep your hair’s integrity. I have fine hair and I have had a hard time growing it over the years. With Kayla’s knowledge, product recommendations and keeping up with my trims my hair has remained healthy and is below my chest now. I love it! Also, I have always been nervous to add lightener to my hair, but Kayla uses a low developer volume for me and my hair has never been over processed. It’s so tough for blondes, because going lighter is scary due to over-processing. We recently moved out of the city, but every time we fly into Chicago, I’ve still been seeing Kayla! Lol I guess it’s true that once you find a good stylist, you never break up. If you’re looking for one, look no further, I would recommend Kayla to anyone!

I’ve been going to Kayla for about 5 years. Every appointment she reviews what I’m looking for, what the process with me and ensures I’m happy with the plan before moving forward. I’ve had previous experiences with other hairstylists where I’ve said one thing and they interpreted it as something else and I ended up hating my hair. I’ve NEVER walked out of Kayla’s salon feeling that way. I love my hair every time! If I could give her 10 stars I would!

Kayla is one of a kind! Not only did she transform my hair with a gorgeous, caramel balayage but she makes the entire appointment such an enjoyable experience with her friendly demeanor. You can tell she is passionate about educating her clients, and in doing so, has really motivated me to take better care of my hair. Cannot recommend her enough.

Kayla has done my hair multiple times and never disappoints! I go from wanting long, dark hair to shorter hair with blond balayage. She nails it every time! On top of getting the most compliments on my color from friends and other hairstylists, her personality has you leaving your appointment laughing, having learned something, and ready to take anything on!! 10/10 you should run to book an appointment with her!

Kayla is the absolute BEST!! Not only is she an amazing hairdresser/stylist but is also such a sweet person. There is absolutely nobody else I would trust with my hair and after every appointment with her I feel like a million bucks! 1000% would recommend to anyone!
