I had my hair butchered by another local salon and went to my mother‘s hairdresser to try to fix it. She didn’t fix it but charged me $80 plus tip. It was actually worse after she fixed it. So I called Bryn. She used to cut my children’s hair and did a great job. I went to her to try to repair this chewed up mess of a haircut. I have no clue how she actually accomplished it, but she fixed it as best she could and I can live with it now, until grows out now. She actually made it look fairly cute, which I’m shocked about. Very talented lady. Thank you so much, Bryn.

Had a great haircut today with Mika! Love that this salon is organic, vegan, and zero waste!! All highly important values to me, so when I found this salon I couldn't be happier! I'll be back for more treatments for sure... Reiki-infused facial might be my next stop 😁

Brynn, the owner, is a highly experienced stylist with a welcoming and peaceful salon. She's been doing my (short) hair for about a year now, and I feel comfortable making requests and adjustments. I walk away loving my cut every time!

Brynn is the best. Very chill atmosphere. I'll be going there every couple weeks to get a trim to keep my beard looking great.

If you want to be pampered and relax in luxury, Lox Salon is the place to go. Especially with Ava! She is amazing at what she does!! I’ve been seeing her for about 2 years now, & I trust her 100% with ANY and ALL of my hair care needs.

This was my first time in the salon. I called 2 weeks ahead and scheduled highlights and a cut. I requested a specific hair stylist who was only doing short haircuts, unfortunately she did not do highlights, so I had to book with another stylist. I was told that highlights for short hair would take an hour and a half, which was longer than usual for my length, especially partial highlights. I was quoted $120 for both highlights and the cut. I paid 50% deposit to schedule an appointment. I came to the salon on time and was first seen by Kari Rose. I explained to her that I wanted thin highlights that would not be patchy. She seemed to have understood what I wanted. She was very nice and gentle. She was quite slow as well, but I figured she was just being thorough. I was a bit alerted when she didn't hold the toner for too long when she washed my hair. She handed me off to the stylist who was going to do my haircut, Carrie Hasey. Carrie seemed to know what she was doing, but regardless I showed her the picture of my previous haircut. I explained to her that I wanted Platinum highlights with a shorter cut. She said that my highlights were "warmer in tone" and asked if that's what I wanted. I said that I did not want warmer tones, so she immediately went back to the previous hairstylist. The previous hairstylist came back and said that she would apply toner after the haircut is done. Carrie proceeded with the haircut, but did not end up drying it, so I never saw the final product. I went back to get the toner treatment and after 10 minutes I had another hair wash. When my hair was dried by Kari, I couldn't really see any highlights. She seemed to have had the same impression because she mentioned that I could always come back to her if I didn't like the results. I figured the lighting was not good, so I wanted to see if I liked it when I left. I knew that I could barely see any highlights, but wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. And somehow I didn't realize until I left that it was more than the second 50% that I was quoted. I immediately called the salon and explained that I thought I was overcharged. I was put on the phone with the manager who explained to me that there was an add-on for $30, but I told her that it was not my fault that the highlights were not visible and that toner had to be applied once again. I also explained to her that my experience, including the financial part, was not good. She offered a refund of $30 after 5 minutes going back and forth arguing, and she said that I could come back to get highlights done again. I told her that I already spent two hours in the salon and can't imagine doing this all over again. Overall, really disappointed with the results. My haircut was okay, but I paid for highlights that I believe were not what I requested. You can take a look at the pictures and see for yourself. The one in the pink jacket is what I wanted. One extra star for the pleasant atmosphere.

Well... It's a nice place, I was only there to get what basically amounts to a trim. Before going there I showered and washed my hair, my hair was still wet by the time I sat down on the stylists chair. I specifically told the girl, that I had freaked out with anxiety and cut my long hair about a month ago and I just needed her to straighten the length out and possibly but some layers in it. She said she could do that and it honestly didn't look that bad. But she proceeded to run her fingers through my hair as stylist do, she put the cape on and said "let's go get you shampooed" I said "I literally just washed my hair" like I know you can smell my shampoo and my hair was still wet as well as it didn't look or feel dirty. So... She cuts my hair and it looked fine, I was happy with it.but then she said "hold on let me go get some products" and I kinda just sat there like is that normal? Well she didn't really ask she just did it. She put salt spray and some type of moose type stuff in my hair. Then she proceeded to style my hair. After all "styling" my hair basically looked dry and straight. She didn't even ask if I wanted to have it styled. As someone who doesn't use a lot of hair product in my hair in general or actually style my hair I did not appreciate either of those things happening. I do want to say that everybody there was nice and courteous. But I would have liked to have been asked if I wanted hair products in my hair or my hair styled. I would have said no to both of those things. So after she finished I go to pay, and what I expected to be about a $45 bill was now all of a sudden $52. And then she asked me "do you want to go ahead and make another appointment?" And I said no not at this time I'll make one next time I want to come in. Knowing full well that because she hadn't asked whether or not I wanted hair products in my hair or my hair styled, that I was not coming back here. So at the end of it I ended up giving her a $15 tip for a hairstyle and hair products that I didn't even want. And like I said everybody was nice and it's a nice place but I did not appreciate not being asked about those things and I will not be back to that salon because of that. I had to rewash my hair as I had to go to sleep when I got home and then woke up to go to work that night. Now my hair has been funky for the last 48 hrs. Ugh. 😭
