The Wild Side

I've been getting my hair cut by Alyssa for years now. Super kind, energetic, and has an awesome eye for what works for your hair. I come in with an idea of what I want and maybe a picture of two and she instantly catches the vision and gives me something I'm super happy to show off until it grows out enough that I come back. The booking process is also super easy and the shop is clean and nice.

Kat is hands down the best hairstylist I’ve ever had. Whether it’s color or styling, she pays incredible attention to detail and really cares about getting it right. She’s also so friendly and easy to talk to, which makes every appointment feel comfortable and relaxed.

I didn’t want to come and give a bad review because I’m not that kind of person but I have cried since I left the salon. I only wanted my layers blended and that’s all I wanted. I wanted my length left as much as possible. I explained everything and showed a picture. Kat is a nice person, but she didn’t listen to a word I said about what I wanted. She just cut cut cut and I ended up with a very short shag when what I wanted was a long bob. Those are two very different hair cuts. I left looking like I have a mushroom on my head. I told her I wasn’t happy with it and her response was "there is nothing else I can do for you" really!! I’m not mad, I am crushed. Absolutely crushed! For reference the 1st pic is before and the 2nd pic is after. It will take me 6months just to grow it back to where it was when I walked in the salon and I didn’t want any length taken off, just blended. Spent 70$ to leave in tears.

a month after my last haircut from alyssa and its still looking amazing so i figured it warranted a 5 star review lol, shes always soso kind and i look forward to my haircuts and chats with her. super cool person that genuinely takes pride in her work not to mention she’s absolutely amazinggggg at it!

Alyssa did a great job at giving me what I asked for and listening when I wasn’t happy with something! I’ll definitely be booking again! <3

Alyssa Cook! She’s gentle and encouraging. She wants you to feel your best. Shes so talented!! Also she won’t do small talk so be prepared to share your heart. But hey therapy and amazing hair in one what’s not to love
