An unforgettable gem tucked into Richmond, River City Sauna Co is pure magic. We absolutely loved our time here. From the moment we arrived, we were met with warmth and care. The environment is peaceful, beautifully designed, and clearly created with intention. The sauna itself is unlike anything we’ve experienced — both grounding and rejuvenating. It’s the perfect reset. We’re so grateful for this serene, one-of-a-kind space, and can’t wait to return.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS The sauna is very clean and spacious unlike what I was imagining. The windows make it feel light and inviting. I’m completely new to saunas and had a wonderful first experience at River City Sauna. Shawn took the time to walk me through the benefits, answer my questions, and even recommended a sauna hat to help protect my hair (it’s bleached and a lavender color). As someone obsessed with hair maintenance, it was a thoughtful recommendation I wasn’t expecting and completely appreciate. THE EXPERIENCE I loved that I could step outside to cool off and hydrate before returning to continue the session—it made the whole experience feel approachable and restorative. Grateful for the warm welcome and education. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend!
