Kroger Marketplace

Very positive experience. I was there on the last hour before closure last week, this is when one would expect employees to be exhausted and not very friendly. Well, my experience was the exact opposite. I'm using a cane and had back issues. Kroger associates went above and beyond to help me. Tabria carried my refilled 5 gallons water bottle and placed it in my cart, then Connor walked out with me to the car and put it in the trunk. The store manager was extremely kind and Jessica at the self checkout station was super kind and helpful. Everyone had a welcoming smile on their face. I wish I could thank each and everyone by their name. Thank you for such positive experience!

As one of the largest Krogers in Arkansas, this fine establishment has many great offerings. A large flower and fresh produce area greets you as soon as you enter the marketplace entrance. Produce section is usually stocked and very neat. There is a Starbucks location inside next to the handmade sushi counter island. Kroger has a strong variety of cheeses complete with an assorted of olives on their olive bar. Boars head deli meats and cheeses that’s beside their bakery area that looses inventory towards the end of the day - it’s fresh! The fresh meat and seafood counter is a strong option in this city. This location has a good pharmacy with a two car drive thru - it stays busy inside and out. This location has a men’s, women’s and baby clothes option and usually some space for seasonal decorations back by the toy aisles. All around a quality marketplace!

My fiancé and I went to the grocery store for a few items and wanted to empty out our spare change jar from the house. We’re at the self checkout using our change and then when we’re about a 1/4 of the way through it gets jammed. So we called over the employee that was over seeing the self checkout to get some assistance. This is where she said, "I would have went to the coin star instead of doing all this." The coin star was out of order and also I’m not going to pay a fee when I can just insert coins and pay for my groceries. The manager then comes over to help. She had a good attitude and was happy to help, but left saying, "one at a time and very slow." So that’s what we did, because we didn’t want to cause another scene or cause more tension with the employee over seeing the self checkout. Unfortunately when getting half way through the bottle the machine jammed again. The employee then came over saying, "The only person that can help you just went on break and you’ll have to wait 15 minutes." So we then just paid with our credit card and went on our way. The attendants behavior was inexcusable as we weren’t bothering any other customers or holding up the line. No one should have to feel ashamed if all they have is coins to pay. Patience and kindness is a lost virtue in today’s society, in which tonight it showed.

The cashier kylee was very rude . Assumed I was going to steal a bag of charcoal after stating to another customer I was waiting on my daughter to bring bread. It was about two families and one single family around when this accusation occurred I felt highly disrespected and embarrassed!!! So it resulted in me leaving the store and allowing her to Checkout alone which is totally unexpectedable due to the fact of poor customer service

closes 15-20 minutes early CONSISTENTLY. i got off work and needed a few things for dinner but the doors were locked 15 minutes early tonight. my autistic son will only eat a few items, and most of them are from Kroger so now my son won’t have his safe foods tonight. thanks a lot Kroger.

Always a great selection of Bakery items that exceed the normal grocery fare offering. Seafood and Floral Depts are outstanding too.

always have great sales and very clean supermarket. Love the deli/salad bar. Edit: photos are of the condition of the produce section. Only two people working produce, and they were too busy chatting while unloading a box of corn together. Asked for help at customer service and never did get anyone to help me. Just needed an onion and some mushrooms.
