Very convenient store with parking and has a really wide selection. Would like to see even more items and makeup shades like Tirtir. Pricing is similar to stylevana and Yesstyle. Some items just have a tester out and they have the product in their backroom if you want to buy it and it’s not out on the floor.

I had a very disappointing experience at this store. The nail polish I bought was misleadingly displayed — the demo/sample color shown underneath the product was different from the actual shade in the box. I only realized after purchase that I ended up with a color I did not want!!!

The prices are good. I had questions about sunscreen and they were happy to assist. Would def come back to this store once I run out of sunscreen 😊

Honestly the customer service here is pretty mediocre. Some products are kept in a drawer and you have to ask an employee to get a new product for purchase. While I understand the reaskn behind that, especially the employee with the glasses, she's quite prejudice against teens. I was purchasing a certain product and she had selected the incorrect shade, but she wouldn't let me confirm the shade and instead she said she'd leave it at the counter. I know I should've checked after purchasing that it was the shade I had wanted, but I assumed she paid attention to the shade I had wanted and she did not. I made the trip back but with a parent and I was able to exchange for the color I wanted, however I don't think they would've been as flexible if I went alone. Overall the service is kinda poor but they do have a wide range of products to choose from. There is another candy doll in Japantown and I think that one is better than the one in Stonestown.

More pricey than you would expect but lots of items and a massive variety in a very small store with fabulous customer service

Terrible Customer Service and Horrible Return Policy at CandyDoll I rarely write reviews, but my experience with CandyDoll was so frustrating that I feel compelled to share it. I recently purchased a bottle of shampoo from their store, but when I got home and tried it, I was taken aback by the strong artificial smell it gave off. It was so overpowering that I knew I couldn’t use it. I immediately returned to the store, hoping for a refund or at least an exchange. However, the manager wasn’t there, so the staff gave me an email address to contact. I sent multiple emails explaining my issue, but received no response. Frustrated, I finally called the store to follow up. When I finally spoke with the manager, she claimed she never received any of my emails, even though I used the exact address provided by her staff. Worse, she was completely dismissive of my concerns, refusing to even hear me out. I later became aware that the store has a no-return policy on opened products. This was never mentioned to me at checkout, nor did I see any signage indicating that the sale was final. I was completely blindsided by this. If you’re considering trying something new from CandyDoll, don’t bother unless you’re absolutely sure you’ll love it. Their customer service is rude, and their stubborn return policy means you’ll be stuck with a product you might hate. Save yourself the trouble and only buy products you already know and like.

I started watching videos about K-Beauty recently after watching the Vox Explained episode on skincare. I feel so blessed that this store is close by because they have everything you could need at a very affordable price. Since starting a multi step skincare routine using their products, my barrier is restored and my skin is soft, even and glassy. I am in love with my new skincare routine and it’s something that I look forward to doing everyday. The store is adorable and has some really great stuff. If you are won’t familiar with Skincare and cosmetic products from Asia I would suggest doing some research on what you want before coming in if you are an English only speaker - many of the products are not in English. The staff is helpful and can help you find what you need.
