I bought a bunch of their face masks yesterday cause they had a good deal going and I’ve never tried Korean skincare products before. I was super excited to try them out but so far not very happy with the Real Nature Aloe face mask. I’ve tried other face masks before and never had such a bad reaction esp to aloe products…I don’t have sensitive skin either, but my whole face is red where the mask was! my cheeks, chin, everything. It looks like I got sunburnt and have a horrible red outline, even around my eyes! not sure what I can do to fix it but I’m super disappointed that this was my experience with one of the products they sell. Also I looked into some of the ingredients and am super annoyed that they even have some of the highlighted ones in there that have zero/minimal benefits and are more likely to cause redness and irritation. Sketch.

This is the rating for the young lady who works on site today. She has wavy long hair with eye glasses. When I walked inside the store for the first time, the lady didn't even look at who stepped into the store. She had nothing to do. She put her hands in her pockets and focused on herself. When I asked her questions about double eyelids tapes, I only got yes or no responses from her. She was not knowledgeable for the products. She appeared not interested in responding to customers. Since I had sensitive skin, I also asked if she had samples I can try before I bought. She did other non urgent things while answering me that she had no samples without looking at me. I asked when the samples would be available and she said she didnt know. When I asked if I could get the eyelid tape with buy one get one 50% discount as posted , she said no discount. I checked online, the online store does show eyelid tape has discount. The service I got was unacceptable.

Spoke with the owner who provided lots of suggestions what my wife and I should use to make us look younger. If not, young at heart. She let us try a number of products that we felt did make a difference in softness, smoothness and brightness with our skin. We ended up purchasing a number of products that the owner felt we would like so much that she is confident that we will be back. She has 19 stores throughout the Bay Area. So she must be doing something right. Time will tell if the products will make us look younger.

Yall need better workers. The 3 musketeers at the registers need to find a new job. We didn’t purchase anything since they kept side eyeing us and not answering questions. On the bright side I found what I wanted for 8$ less at another shop across the bridge way!

Avoid this place at all cost.. They will try to charge you multiple times by lying that the credit card did not go through while it was actually went trough . I shopped on May 13 with purchase of 49.48 total . The lady at cashier said I need to try with different card although credit card machine didn’t seem to have alert that it was declined. It wasn’t till I got home that I found out I was charged twice… The worst part is when I called the store multiple times, they didn’t even try Tu call me back to fix their mistake. I called the next day on Sunday to ask for refund, the lady who picked up the phone said her manager will me . However, no callback was received after . Tried to call again the next day but no response. Wow . I am questioning how anyone thinks it’s ok to be running business without having minimal courtesy of customer service and unethically overcharging ppl .

the lady working , sadly i didn't catch her name but she was a japanese lady (40s-50s) who was the ABSOLUTE SWEETEST she even gave me and my friends free things because we followed the 2 person limit rule for social distancing unlike most people. she was super helpful too and assisted us with EVERYTHING. her aura and everything abt her was so fun and happy. she deserves a raise!!! and she also sells her products well and explained everything in depth. definitely going back soon esp to see her

I've been here a few times already and I don't buy much, but that's not to say that I don't want to XD. I'm just trying to be good and finish off the products I have first before getting new ones. As you can imagine, there are a few skincare and Korean skincare stores in Japantown. From what I could tell, this one sells very similar things to the others but for a better price. If (like me) you're confused about what to get since there are so many options, there are always sales associates around to offer advice based on your needs 🙂
