Kappa

I purchased frozen whole shrimp cutlets here, but when I opened them at home, the shrimp patties were completely flattened and stuck together, as if they had been thawed and refrozen. I’ve shopped at Kappa several times, and this issue has happened repeatedly, so I don’t plan to return. The prices here are also higher than other stores and I recommend checking the expiration date and product condition carefully before purchasing.

Kappa is Korean counter sushi sheer delight! This Grocer/Carryout is as authentic and down to earth as it gets. Friendly staff, huge selection, moderate prices and well stocked with my go-to; the sushi. This is not your ordinary counter sushi! It is unbelievably delicious and fresh, at a ridiculously low price. And there’s dumplings, beef noodles and veggies, squid, fish, and a variety of other ready to grab creations. You can not go wrong here. Have a question, just ask. Add an aloe drink, cold coffee, or fruity beverage, crunchy salty seafood flavored snack, deserts or candy imported directly form Asia. You’re in and out in no time, even in betwen grocery shoppers. Kappa is what makes America great.

Very delicious homemade food. I found foods that heard to purchase in another stores. Also, staffs are very friendly, clean and very well organized korean store.

My best korean market in Michigan. You can have many korean foods and snacks as well as some bento (see pictures). Also there are some special menus (e.g. 순대, 족발, 만두, 떡 등) I usually purchase cosmetic mask-packs lol. Strongly recommend ppl who want to try some Korean foods/snacks. I personally recommend you to try 제육볶음도시락, which is stirred-pork bento (see pictures)

Oct 2024. Korean Foods store with great local store vibes. If you like anime/import snacks they have all sorts of cool chips and instant ramens here. Grab-n-go has homemade kimchi, steamed buns, those nice yellow radish pickles. Take out in back makes Korean sushi rolls only $5.50 for a double size roll whoa 😍! They got hard to find Nishiki Rice and other good brands. They also have the elusive kewpie mayo and some fresh chili paste which is also hard to find now. Produce section has much better mushrooms than Meijer. 💚💚💚

Well stocked for its size, good prices, and the ready to eat banchan we picked up were delicious. We'll definitely be going back.

Its a small Korean grocery store but you find everything you need for any korean dish you want yo make. There is also prepared food sold in the back. The staff is very friendly.
