Customer Reviews
Whole Foods Market has a rating of 4.2 out of 5 based on over 1900 reviews on Google
While the food quality and selection is excellent, there is a problem with their deliveries. Apparently, they spray the interior of all their paper bags with some sort of perfume, or maybe a strongly scented disinfectant. The grocery items inside the bags absorb this perfume scent. Every food item they deliver comes saturated with the strong scent of artificial perfume. My house ends up smelling for days, because all of the grocery items continue to give off the perfume odors.
I usually really like Whole Foods but one worker in particular was very rude tonight, I doubt I’ll go back to this location. Trying to self with a small cart near the end of the day with all self checkout spots empty and green but the worker told me I had to go to the other line. I questioned her because I always do self checkout and asked where it shows a limit and she got annoyed and said she can make that decision based on her own discretion. The other lane had a wait. She was wiping down one of the self checkout spots and clearly just being lazy and rude not wanting to have to wipe it down again. Then she laughed and waved in a sarcastic way as I walked out. If someone doesn’t know how to work with customers and wants to be lazy and rude they should find another job.
This review is specifically regarding the curbside pick-up experience here. It was terrible. All of the curbside pick-up spots were taken when I arrived, with nobody inside those cars except 1 of them. And the wholefoods associate loading that vehicle was loading it so slowly it took her 10 minutes to do it. So then I followed the Amazon App's direction to park as close as possible and turn on my hazard lights. After about 15 minutes of waiting, an associate came out and did not make an effort to locate my vehicle, even though I was in plain view with my hazards on. They also didn't call me, like the app said they were supposed to. All in all, it was a waste of my time, with my 9-month old screaming in the back seat while I was waiting. This wholefoods should relocate their curbside pick-up area where things aren't so busy, and also better staff their curbside pick-up associates with people who care and work quickly. I will not be doing curbside pick-up here again.
The old white woman at the self check out is extremely racist and has been making me uncomfortable since I’ve been coming to this store. I no longer feel comfortable shopping seeing as I am the only black person at the self checkout everytime I go, but not the only person at the self checkout. But she does make it known to watch specifically me and only me checkout everytime I come to this store. If they are so afraid of theft, stop being lazy and have your workers check them out at the actual checkout line. I will be escalating my complaints if it continues to happen. I have informed management and I will be getting higher ups involved if this behavior continues.
Amazon return employee was pleasant. The food tasted good. No whole food employee interaction. Whole paycheck foods… am I right?!
I typically enjoy shopping at Whole Foods for the quality of their products, but my experience today was really disappointing due to the lack of customer service. The cashier barely acknowledged me — she didn’t say a single word during the entire checkout process. No greeting, no "thank you," nothing. It felt awkward and impersonal, especially at a place where customer experience is supposed to be a priority. I get that people have off days, but basic courtesy should be a given, no matter what. I hope this is an isolated incident, but it certainly left a bad impression..
The water aisle is never stocked. I asked an employee and they went in the back and got me what I was looking for, why are you not stocking the shelves though? Walking around the store, so many shelves are completely empty
