Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ

for lunch menu its 15 for two bbq item and 19 for three，two of us really liked yakisabu beef and prime kalbi short rib（+6）. there is also salad side and miso soup. the jalapeno spicy is too spicy for us

Well, not so great. Food quantity, meat plates is frugal, 4 tiny slivers of gristly beef, not much spices (rely on sauces, of which only 3 gratis choices, rest you pay extra). All serving portions are tiny (typical of Japanese food in general, don't go hungry), even the white rice bowl. The octopus balls were decent quality and size. Peas, mushrooms, sparse, insufficient. Napkins are cheap plastic wetnaps, no cloth here, not even paper napkins. Seating is benches, very tight. And the prices, well, bring lots of money. No economy here, this is Japan. Service is fast and friendly. About the only really good thing. Go for the 'Japanese' experience, fun unique.

There was plenty of room even for our large party. Our server, Eiki, was so kind and helpful, as it was many of our first times doing Japanese barbecue. I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant!

I had Khoa and Anna serving us tonight for Christmas Eve. The duo was very epic and attentive, they provided a great atmosphere for our special event date ! Food was 10/10, coming back definitely for special events 🙂 thank you

Loved our experience here!! The skirt steak and the garlic rice were exceptional and for dessert, the sweet potato mochi and green tea ice cream were beyond! The all you can eat option allows you to try so many different dishes. And the service was one of the best we’ve ever experienced!! Nan was so attentive and so helpful throughout the entire dining experience! Will definitely recommend Gyu-kaku to others!

Great Japanese barbecue place in Boston. Went there for lunch, and everything was well presented. Service was decent, and courteous. Even though it's pricey but you get what you pay for! It is not spacious enough and the heater was not working properly in a cold day!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Especially the sukiyaki bibimbap and the bistro hanger steak. Also Ana, Osner, and Mario are all awesome!!!
