This was my first time trying a Korean restaurant, and it was such a great experience! The staff was very quick and friendly, and even though the restaurant was bustling it was really comfortable. The menu had so many delicious options to choose from, which made deciding tough. My partner ordered the bibimbob, while I went with the ddokboggi. Our meal came with an incredible variety of side dishes. Each one flavorful and unique. The Ddokboggi was a standout for me: the spice level was just right, and the rice cakes soaked up the sauce perfectly, making every bite tasty and satisfying. I left feeling full but not heavy, which was awesome. Overall, everything was fresh, flavorful, and fun to try. I’ll definitely be coming back to explore more dishes I’ve never had before!

I came here for lunch on a quick overnight trip to Anchorage. The service was attentive and kind, the food was hot, crispy, and flavorful. It got brought out quickly and was delicious.

This restaurant sounded really good on the review. I liked the sides of things you try but I think this is a staple for these types of restaurants. The food was decent but not amazing, especially for the price and the deriving size. I won’t be spending that money again for the experience we got.

Absolutely amazing!! This was my first time trying authentic korean food and WOW I picked the right place. Our waitress was very sweet and took great care of us. My kimchi jjigae was heavenly, flavorful and comforting. Served in a metal bowl so it stays hot. The pork belly in it was INCREDIBLE. My husband had the chicken katstu, he said it was the best he's ever had (and he's had lots)! The side dishes were very exciting, each one different and each one delicious. It tasted like a home cooked meal, with only high quality ingredients. We will 100% be back!! (Only thing to make it better, would be adding gimbap to the menu:) )

Authentic korean restaurant. This korean restaurant is unique in that A LOT of side dishes (ban-chan) are provided. That is a unique eating experience for a korean restaurant. The food is alright. The bibimbap was okay and the galbitang was good. The price was about $30 per person which was expensive. The seafood pancake (pajeon) was subpar and tasted like alot of flour.

I know what you are thinking, if you loved the food & service why rate 4 star? This is meant to be positive criticism and help the business improve because we wanted to stay. Vibe: Nice little mom&pop Korean restaurant. I feel like they have a real opportunity to renovate and update most all of the interior. Some things I understand not being able to change (like the electrical being outside of the walls). Other things would be easy to replace and improve the overall experience drastically (From peeling foam molding to sticker wall paper). In sorry, there is a lot of opportunity to upgrade the dining area and bathroom. Service: Fabulous due to The waitress also being what we perceive to be the owner. She was a sweet lady You seem to know a lot of the regulars that came in (which were all Korean, meaning it's a sign of authenticity). She was quick, courteous and helpful. Food: Excellent and more authentic than what we have previously experienced in Alaska. There were still a few fusion dishes, but most dishes were very traditional! Because this was the first time we ate here, I feel like we will have to eat here a few more times to truly get a grasp of a variety of dishes.
