Village Books and Paper Dreams

We really enjoyed this local bookstore. They have a wide selection of new titles along with some used books tucked in, plus a great kids’ area. On the other side you’ll find greeting cards and a variety of gift-like knick-knacks. Upstairs there’s a cozy café serving coffee, food, and sweet treats. It smelled great! The shop feels warm and welcoming, with something for everyone. We’d absolutely come back again and highly recommend it to others exploring the area.

This is the best bookstore I have ever been to. It is three full stories in an old brick building with fun discoveries in every corner! And it has a great cafe, too. You could spend hours in here between all the books and gift items. They offer both new and used books and use a dot sticker system to identify used and bargain books. I was able to score a signed copy of Jodi Picoult’s By Any Other Name!

Amazing local store with 3 stories of books, puzzles, journals, art supplies and paper dreams- a large gift shop with a wide array of items from kitchenware to sweaters. Lovely selection and helpful staff. Cafe offers baked goods, select menu items, and alcoholic beverages. It's also dog friendly!

I Love Village Books and Paper Dreams. I asked for help finding a book and was guided directly to it by the friendly information staff person. I killed some time waiting for my ride with a freshly brewed ice tea in the cafe. It’s always a relaxing time at VB$PD…

Absolutely loved this bookstore. It’s huge (3 floors) and has literally something for everyone. First floor is ground level from the back entrance and has travel books, used books, puzzles and more, plus it connect to the next door restaurant. Second floor is ground level from front entrance and is the heart of the store with tons of books including a large kids section and the checkout counter. Third floor is the perfect place to study or enjoy friend time since it includes a cafe with a wide range of drinks and food options and decent seating. It’s also the floor with the most feel of being in library book stacks with tons of classics both new and used. Bathrooms are also on third floor.

One of the better book stores I've been to, absolutely worth the trip. Could spend hours in here poking around at their selection and genres. Staff was helpful, knowledgeable, and more than willing to order books if they didn't have them. Great scifi and fantasy selection, open seating for their cafe, but no publicly accessible restrooms at the time of this review. There's a gift shop as well too if the three stories of books didn't have enough to see. Will come again.
