Beautiful! Absolutely wonderful place to stay , relatively central! Beds/ Rooms are so Comfy! Incredibly polite & helpful staff ! Every single person I came in contact with was a delight and they made my stay stress free ! Will 100% be back in the future.

One of the great universities of the world, with a campus deserving of it. There's a real commitment to the neogothic and medieval here, even compared to the average American university campus, with elaborate ornamentation and soaring spires and a sense of artistry in every detail, creating a sanctified environment dedicated to learning and the elevated nourishment of the mind. Ivy completely envelops some buildings, with their emphatic verticality and ornate towers, and narrow passages lead into verdant cloistered courtyards that remind me significantly of my time in Scotland. This is a prestigious university but it never feels too showy, just like the old medieval institutions it is modeled on: this is a place of serious and refined study and contemplation.

The University of Chicago, anchored at its Gothic-inspired campus at 5801 S Ellis Ave, is consistently characterized in my intellectual and professional circles as a legendary "teacher of teachers," where a substantive devotion to the life of the mind fosters an environment of unparalleled analytical depth. The hospital is exceptionally clean and organized. Even though the architecture of the building provides for a cold incredibly huge open space upon entering the building The receptionist were incredibly friendly, warm and helpful in contrast. Garage parking is taken care of and at a reasonable price by Chicago standards.

This is the most beautiful campus I've ever seen. The Gothic architecture and the green landscape create a breathtaking experience. We were there for the open house in April and everything was nicely planned out, as well as enticing. I would totally recommend checking this campus out if you're in town.

The main quad is a certified botanic garden; nature and learning intertwine seamlessly, providing an enriching environment for both the mind and soul. With the fall semester just kicking off, there was palpable excitement in the air, especially among the freshmen eager to embark on their academic journey. The University of Chicago campus is my absolute favorite place in the city. The mix of gothic architecture, peaceful landscaping, rich history, and world-class museums is wonderful to experience. Will keep visiting again and again.
