Wyzant Tutoring

It is ok but the platform needs to be able to use tutors using videos over the app for online learning. Right now it is only usable on the website using a computer . Also it is not possible to reschedule nor cancel lessons without emailing the tutor first. They need to do better with the platform as far as scheduling and providing ability to use video platform using the app

This has been an amazing resource for me to find tutors for different subjects without feeling awkward about switching tutors or comparing rates. We found our best tutor for math on this site, Vani G, who has been a lifesaver for both of my sons over the years. Also found great English tutors and Spanish tutors as well.

We found an excellent tutor (Tanya M.) on Wyzant who has helped my daughter in both the Algebra and Geometry subjects. The prices on Wyzant are reasonable, and the help has been significant. Unfortunately, my daughter doesn't have a good math teacher at school (she has a heavy foreign accent, speaks quickly, and caters to the top students), so many times my daughter is having to teach herself the lessons at home. This is when we researched tutors online and were lucky to find Wyzant. We were able to find help very quickly. They have a plethora of tutors on many subjects, and they are available at all different times of the day, and every day of the week. My daughter understands math much better now thanks to Tanya. She goes over the lessons with my daughter, and then works through several homework problems to make sure that she understands. She is also teaching her skills to understand the problem more in depth instead of just memorizing formulas. Tanya M. has been a tremendous help for us, and we will continue to use her for tutoring. We highly recommend Tanya M. and Wyzant.
