They only care to help if you are an adult. They will say they will help your child. Make promises. Decide to offer, volunteer, and set my child's expectations that they will help her. My school district wants to help the "high-risk" children in our area. The Literacy Council apparently said they would partner with our social worker and the school district. to help a group of kids. They sent an ill-equipped woman who did not help but judged a group of children. No need to respond to me here. I'll be sending an email with my daughter's perspective to this whole experience. You are not the organization my school district can rely on to help the forgotten kids.
It's a place for Adult Education to study for their GED.
