Strickland's Martial Arts

We've had a really positive experience at Strickland's Martial Arts. Our daughter is 7 and our son is 9, and both genuinely enjoy coming to class. The instructors are patient, consistent, and do a great job keeping kids engaged while still maintaining structure. One of the biggest changes we've noticed is how much more confident our kids have become. They're more willing to try new things, speak up, and stick with challenges instead of giving up. George, the owner, runs a well-organized program and clearly cares about the kids and their progress. The atmosphere is welcoming and family-friendly, and we feel good knowing our kids are learning discipline, respect, and confidence in a supportive environment. We would definitely recommend Strickland's to families looking for a solid martial arts program for their children.

Stricklands has been a great place for us. The students learn skills that translate into real life situations. I love how all belt ranks work together and the higher ranked belts help those below them. Everyone gets better because of this. It is a welcoming environment and it has been a good investment that carries into all areas of life. I highly recommend it!

Strickland’s Martial Arts has been great for my neurodiverse guy. The instructors are patient & helpful! It’s great to see him focus & try his best in class. It has been great with helping build confidence and teach the concept of putting in hard work & effort to achieve something. He gets excited about belt advancements. Love how they have holiday classes & events! So thankful for how they are working with & helping this kiddo grow!

My teen daughter started at Strickland's just over 2 years ago. The approach to training in martial arts at Strickland's is very practical a very useful. They combine multiple forms of martial arts, and this unique blend provides the students the ability to implement self defense effectively. Prior to enrolling her, I had checked out a couple other places and noticed that they looked interesting, but I didn't see the students would be able to apply those skills to defend themselves if needed. Further, at Strickland's, the owner, George, is highly skilled and he provides the highest level of encouragement to his students.

My grandson has been a member of the Strickland’s Martial Arts family for a couple of years. We had been looking for an after school activity that would provide not only physical activity, but also engage the whole child. Students are encouraged due to the fact that they can advance regularly so they feel successful, not stuck at one level. My grandson says it’s an amazing experience and he absolutely loves going to his lessons every week. He has competed at the local level and that, too, has been an enriching activity. Strickland’s also provides fun sessions as well as special summer workshops. We feel fortunate to have found and been welcomed into the Strickland’s Martial Arts family (and yes, it feels like family) and I highly recommend this school to everyone.

Our kids enjoy being part of Strickland Martial arts classes. All the staffs are extremely helpful and highly skilled. We are so thankful for the management and the staffs for the dedication in making every student successful.
