It’s very busy we came in at 8am when they open and there were so many people there already. It’s possibly better to have to come sooner and wait before they open but none the less it wasn’t a bad experience at all. The front sign in and walk in sign in receptionist’s help you and are pleasant to work with they really do their best to get everyone’s information and get you signed in quickly which I highly appreciated ! Dr. Yasmin Ludianski, & Cassandra Saxon, DA were extremely sweet and supportive to my 5 year old. I couldn’t believe how fast we were out of there. My son needed a tooth extraction and they explained everything to me that was going to be done and needed to be signed, took their time making sure I understood everything before signing were very professional from beginning to end and caring to my son. I am so beyond thankful for the great experience we had & most importantly my son loves the dentist now so for our next visit this upcoming March he is already looking forward to it. Again so beyond thankful to everyone there it’s not easy brining a small child to appointments they don’t have any patience though like I mentioned in the beginning even though we came in at the time of the dental clinic opening there were a lot of people completely full office and somehow all the people in front of us which was so so many were all being taken in very fast and we weren’t there long at all! I can not recommend this dental clinic enough for parents with small children!! I wanna say thank you to all the staff that helped us.

I absolutely love love love the service at staten island university hospital's dental clinic. My son was seen on 2 separate days 10/17/2025 and 10/20/2025. All the workers showed my son Mason Bulina so much TLC I am so grateful and really appreciate it. I wanted 2 say a special thanks 2 Dr.Firoozeh Shekari (dentist resident), Tasia (clerk), Lorraine (dental assistant), Dr. Yasmin Ludianski (dentist resident), Dr.Lisa Schneider (attending dentist), Cassandra (dental assistant), and Jeromy (registrar). Again, Thanks so much. We had 2 revisit a few more times 12/4/2025, and today 12/9/2025. On both days Christina Camaratti (clerk), Dr.Jenna Zerino, Kristi G. (Dental assistant) treated my son Mason Bulina with the same TLC I previously mentioned. Again love the service here. So far they have been the best clinic I've ever went to 4 myself and all my children as well.

Your Availability is hard on single parents who have no one to help. As a single father of 5 ages 10-17 I make appointments for me and for my children around the other important things like doctors dental and school also whatever their into (sports and the like) so mornings are always best for me or late night like 10:00 pm but depending on what you need as a patient you may not be able to. I think y’all are conforming to the needs of your workers and I understand that but a dentist or doctor who’s not available ever in the morning is one who shouldn’t be.

I go to the Staten Island University Hospital Dental Unit and I see Dr Rebecca who is a wonderful Dentist and who is very compassionate with me with what I have been dealing with with my dentures, not due to the Dental Unit but due to my mouth getting use to a new denture Her professionalism towards me since I been going there has been very rewarding and helpful. She has a wonderful personality and extremely courteous….

These doctors overbook themselves on purpose. They don't respect your time whatsoever, only their wallets. They'll make you wait for hours on end and miss any other appointment. My baby was waiting for 1 hour and was bawling his eyes out, how am I supposed to sit here on the doctor's time when they agreed to a set time. Disgusting lack of professionalism. Absolutely horrid experience

Worst experience ever! Can’t even make an appointment in person. They told keep trying until you get someone through. They say it’s a walk in clinic but don’t accept it walk ins. Unless you stand on line at 7am and be the lucky 10 people to be seen. Hate this place. Can never get through anyone. They don’t care about your pain

Waited 6.5 hrs for them to tell me I need to do a dental cleaning and that I have to wait 3 weeks to make an appointment for a chance to have an appointment without opening my mouth once. 0 empathy or logics. The dental assistant asked me if I want to deal with the wisdom tooth first or the abscessed gum….and this is based on my assumption. Apparently I have to wait for preauthorization for my wisdom tooth removal. Mind you, got my mouth checked, from 5 ft away for one second. I’m pretty sure an abscessed mouth is an emergency that needs to be taken care of immediately and not to be seen till maybe….if I’m lucky….6 weeks in a general checkup. Avoid unless you like to be a statistic for low income dental related sepsis shock.
