Specialty Dentistry at Gaithersburg

I had a filling and a cleaning done. One of the best dental experience I’ve ever had. The staff is super helpful —Dr. Chen is AMAZING, he made the whole process smooth, painless, and easy.!! Katherine was also excellent. The front desk and everyone else were extremely friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended. 👏

Everyone that works here is so incredibly sweet and knowledgeable. The front office staff know me by name and are so kind and caring. The dentist, Dr. Popa, is amazing! He explains everything so well and really takes his time with you. He is also very nice to talk to. I high recommend this practice!!

My experience with SDG has been phenomenal! I am a carry over patient from a much valued Dr. Dinkin who retired. First I would like to thank my retired dentist for leaving my dental needs in the very capable hands of SDG dental professionals. The reception/office staff have maintained the caring, warmth and professionalism that was always part of the previous practice. The transition has been flawless for me as a patient. I have had the pleasure of having a dental bridge replacement by Dr. Popa of SDG and was very impressed with the entire process. The process was painless with much less discomfort than I had anticipated. My new bridge was in place in a matter of two weeks. Dr. Li will be working on my implants at my next visit. I am delighted to have such outstanding professionals attending to my dental needs under one roof . I recommend SDG very highly.

Such kind and professional staff in Gaithersburg and in Rockville. Dr. Li always calls me in advance of my appointments to see if I have any meds I might need but especially to see how I'm doing. She knows I'm a nervous patient and her caring attention helps me feel much calmer. Yesterday I was barely nervous at all. Many thanks to the teams in both offices.

It was a great experience Dr Li Jean was so nice. My teeth didn't hurt that badly on the skin graft it didn't take long to heal. The pain was hurting but it will get better. She was so helpful and always checking up on you to see how your doing. This was the best experience I have thanks so much. Your office is so nice all the girls are so sweet to thanks for giving me the best experience. 💕

I am so disappointed about their service. They told me $4109 would cover the entire procedure. It’s all paid for; i had the implant; and i am expecting to have final procedure done today. However, they said i have to pay $1,000 for today’s visit for the fake crown. I will have to way for the real crown that is expected to be another $2400. What? Are you kidding me? $7500 for a tooth replacement? They do not honor what they said. They promised to give me a call end of today to give me a solution but nobody ever called me. Basically, I wasted $4309 and yet still missing a tooth. I will never go there again.

This was my first visit to SD Gaithersburg. The office staff is very kind and professional. I found the office very clean and inviting and all the staff members I interacted with were super friendly. They all made me feel very welcome and comfortable.
